RIP former Demon Ken Osborne, MFC player 1966-69.

Condolences to his family and friends.

It seems to be a bad week for people in the world of sports and entertainment dying young.

Ken had a very brief career with the club in the late 60s and I believe that his first wife, a very lovely lady, passed away very young. Condolences to Ken's family - it's a loss for the entire Demon community.

Can anyone remember what number he wore and if he was related to Graeme Osborne, number 7, who played at the same time.

Ken Osborne wore number 36.

Related to Graeme ?? Not sure yet.

I always thought they were brothers.

Checked Demonwiki. Graeme from Toora and Ken from Bentleigh.

Thinking not.

Ken was a first cousin of Steve (who I swim with) Graeme and Richard (Fitzroy, Dogs etc).

Sad to hear about Ken. I played with him at Bentleigh FC before he went to Melbourne. He was not related to Graeme Osborne.
