How many current and past players read/post on Demonland?

Did I have an idea? That would be something new. -

Dieter it might look like I am about 3 foot tall with strings attached but I am actually 6' 5"! And believe me I left the Dee's in 1992 because they blamed me for the loss to the Weagles in the semi final in 91 where I played with a broken bone in the hand. -
Reports are the the Dorks are chasing him, replacement for Gibson just as they covered Lewis and S Mitchell with Mitchell and Jaegar. How the hell do you kill this club in the modern era where they just keep cherry picking top talent based on their recent, past success to fill holes?

If I owned up that I am really Earl Spalding would I finally get some respect on this forum? -
Yes Mono, very odd, the MRP trashed their own brand by giving Greene a fine. This means he transgressed the rules in some way and given his record, the third transgression this year, he would have to pay a price in games, most would think. He either did nothing or he was reckless, inflicting a medium impact, head high use of my boot studs to protect his space, not to allow him to mark from a kick but to just receive an errant handball. The boot was used to fend off a tackler, to gain time and space for a release, not to protect his body in a marking contest. There is a difference I think. The precedent set is I can lift my feet to fend off a challenger at any contest with perhaps only the threat of a fine if you collect their face. Still remember Steven King got off Scott free after kicking Jeff White in the face with a crazy head high hoof at a bounced ball! Jeff needed cosmetic surgery and a face reco as a result but apparently it was not negligent, high and high impact back then.

Much worse of course, an open palm push to the upper body, than a boot to the face which was high, medium impact and reckless but only gets a fine for a 3 time offender? Yes it is all making sense to me.

Thanks Nut was about to post the same article. Just more climate conclusions from the observed data from 13 different US agencies, no less. But of course they are all part of the conspiracy. Why they would be doing that is a mystery of course to all except the C deniers who can't see why corporations with multi billion dollar vested interests in fossil fuels might be causing confusion and doubt via any number of so called and falsely labelled "Think Tanks". Such as the Heartland Institute funded by the Koch Brothers who shall we say are a menace to modern civilisation, along with Rupert Murdoch. In a rational world they would be dealt with forthwith. If not violently, perhaps we could send Rupert off to Manus Island and the Koch boys to Guantanimo Bay. The world would be a better place for this I assure you.

Last 5 games we are 18th for points scored, tackle and clearance differentials and scores per inside 50 entries. Something has gone horribly wrong while we have had key players coming back.

DC the last 2 summers we have been saved by unusual summer humidity drifting south from the tropics as Sydney experiences but we usually don't. I work with people who manage our water supply catchments and I can assure you they were concerned in the past 2 seasons when we had not received our Spring rains to wet the catchments and were expecting the worst in January or February.

Wrecker are you for real? You spend your time questioning climate change predictions as rubbish but when I post an article citing observed data that has been recorded and experienced and is citing warmer and dryer outcomes, you accuse the BoM of fiddling data and cite you experiences of iced windscreens, for heaven's sake! Climate change studies going back to the late 1990's for Victoria by the CSIRO have only ever predicted warmer temperatures, and less rainfall, not more! So what the hell are you talking about? Have you produced an academic paper on your icy windscreens theory for scientific peer review? If you haven't I suggest you go back to the Institute of Public affairs and ask for further advice.

How did we win this? I had to go at 3 quarter time (I had a 20 km bike ride home into the wind) and yes we were a point down but we were kicking into 25 km/hr wind in the last. Extraordinary effort given we had lost Joel Smith and Spenser by half time. And we just hadn't looked good all day, save for 15 minutes in the 3rd. Gus stood out, Stretch and JKH battled hard. What I noted was that players had very little time and space to get ball and execute, not sure whether this was due to a smaller ground or the wind bottling all play to one area? Watching tonight's AFL match on TV and they appear to have twice the space and time to deliver. Totally different games to watch and for players to play I think. A player with some pace and skill but no real physical advantages in height would likely perform better in AFL than VFL. Of the Casey guys I liked Gent, Fritsch and number 22 Lok looks to have some potential.

I think Spenser might be done for the day, walked straight off after a rucking contest and haven't seen him since.

Casey player stretchered off but didn't see who it is!

SEN saying Jones has been ruled out for this week!

The observed data keeps pointing in one very worrying direction, drier and warmer as the climate models predict! http://www.theage.com.au/environment/weather/australia-blows-away-its-july-daytime-temperature-record-as-rain-stayed-away-20170801-gxmx3h.html

Very hard to stomach Biff. Three quarter time a 6 point deficit, 30 minutes yet to play with a 30 km/h tail wind, a finals spot on the line for us, for Norf, nothing of note, yet we fall short yet again! Not good enough and I suspect it will cost us a spot in the final 8, whereas a win may have secured a top 4 position, in a year where anyone in the finals could win it! And worst of all we may be the underperforming bunnies who let the Dorks into the 8 and given their recent form, they could win the bloody thing.

Yes the Swans are very weak in the air. No intercept marking down back and smashed around the ground for contested marking.
-
Sydney looking very average, perhaps to be expected after 7 in a row? Hawks getting a good run from the umps is helping as well.

Good news is the developers have been charged by the EPA for dumping asbestos from the property and face millions in fines. I would rather see jail time myself.

Not happy. Today I had the day off and assumed training would be on at the normal time although it wasn't an open session and I also wanted to visit the Demon Shop to buy an indigenous jumper. So I rode my bike down to Gosch's around 10 a.m. only to find an empty oval. I back tracked to the Gee and to the Demon Shop only to find the indigenous jumpers are in short supply. They had extra small, small, then 2XL to 4XL. Nothing in the middle that fitted me so no sale. I checked some other stuff but they also had very small or large sizes only. So I suppose that is a sign of good sales. So maybe next year then.

Yes there is a lot at stake here in this case. Just imagine these bastards win and given our law system it is possible, it means the Planning Minister's rulings stand for nothing. That is a green light for every second rate developer to put up their best ambit proposals for over development anywhere they want. A recipe for ongoing chaos. Alternatively maybe that would force the government of the day to pass some bullet proof legislation by the State Parliament setting out very prescriptive rules on height limits and heritage protection that would determine development and could not be challenged through the courts.
