Farewell Jesse Hogan
Nope that's definitely Levi Casboult! ?

Farewell Dean Kent
That's all well and good and I can see where you're coming from but if we find ourselves caught short with the departures of both Kent and VDB (and possibly others), then we may rely more heavily on the trade (pick) to facilitate other player movements. Alternatively, we may be forced to use the pick in the draft given the higher number of departures. Pick 75 is not very helpful for either scenario. I hope it's just posturing by St Kilda or more likely, utter tripe peddled by the Hun.

Clearly Hoges is meeting club (singular) - the one he wants to play for!

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think the bar was lifted with Hogan. There was precious little relief from the clowns masquerading as journos badgering him about his contract and intentions, two effing years before a signature was required.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Carlton? No After Melbourne he played for Williamstown before returning to WA. He then played for a WAFL team I think.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
4 & 5 (or whatever that ends up being). Hogan is a KPP yet to reach his prime. To echo Grazman, I'm don't get why posters sell us so short, or do they think we'll be pushovers at the trade table? I would happily use one to trade for May with plenty of change. I would also like to use one in the draft. I would also happily trade both for Kelly and change, which is a pipe dream I'd like to keep running with.

HATCH MATCH & DESPATCH 2018
Would Carlton do Pick 1 for McGovern and Adelaide's Pick 7, or whatever it is?

The Need for Outside Midfielders
I suspect Sydney wouldn't release him unless he was shot. If we managed to come up with pick 12-18 somehow, I'd rather use it in the draft or on someone else. By Round 24, Hannebury may demonstrate his value as more around 58 (if he can actually get back on the park). Would be keen to hear from someone with groin/calf insight - @Webber

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
It's actually dead easy and I've done it many times. You drive up to the underground carpark next to the shop. You tell the dude on the gate that you want to go to the Demon Shop and he says 'No worries, park right here.' .

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - AUSTIN BRADTKE
A caller on SEN rang in and said he'd watched Austin play Under 12s, U13s and U14s and said he was as good as the Kings. Whopping grain of salt alert, but.....sounds pretty exciting!

Andrew Gaff
From The AFL website: McGovern has put talks on hold, probably until season's end, while Gaff is reportedly being targeted by five Melbourne clubs.

Brendan McCartney - Moved to the bench
Sounds all plausible. It could also be just a case of McCartney being more suited to arresting the possibility of players throwing in the towel again at ground level. Appreciate your feedback and anything further that may arise. Cheers

Would be interested in the views of @Leoncelli_36 on this matter

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Just butting in here - I would, but only because of the forward option. If he was a pure ruck, I'd pass (also on Coleman-Jones). I could see us taking a Ballard or Brander if either happened to slide (unlikely) but no other KPPs. The rest will be players who are either mids or capable of running through the middle. If they don't love a contest, they wont get picked, no matter how much run they might provide. I think they'll look for a small forward (which i include in the capable of running through the middle brigade). I doubt we'd pick up more than one player under 180cms. I could see us getting Spargo if medically cleared and I'm definitely expecting at least one from the clouds. Some of the players predicted to go in the 30's around our picks I don't think we'd take - eg Houlahan. Also wanting to put it on record how wrong I expect to be, as Taylor has so far surprised with each draft and isn't afraid of high risk, high reward picks. I'll take a stab at the four picks shortly just to prove it.

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Wasn't sure where to put this, but here's Brett Anderson's SEN Mock Draft: https://www.sen.com.au/news/2017/11/20/brett-andersons-2017-afl-mock-draft/ Interesting he has us taking Oscar Baker. I'm expecting some left field picks from Taylor as has been the case in the past.

Jack Trengove signed by Port Adelaide as a Delisted Free Agent
Port still have 5 or 6 picks after pick 45 for this year's draft. It makes some sort of sense that they've picked up all these FAs and DFAs rather than take more picks in the hundreds. What doesn't make sense is how they found themselves in this situation in the first place. And gee, another year for the Toump

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
It looks like we've spoken to him so I would be interested to hear from track watchers @ChaserJ or anyone? Is he a possibility to add to our midfield depth at 47? There's a bit of speculation on BF that St Kilda want both Andrew and Hamish.

Love the bloke and hope like anything he gets a good run at it. He deserves every success. Don't care who he plays for, I'll cheer him on regardless (maybe not against us). Go you good thing JT
