Given that we are playing the Bulldogs I expect us to be able to get the ball in the forward 50m more - JKH and Kent at the feet of Dawes Frawley, Watts and Pedo could be dangerous. I expect us to be able to move the ball a lot more freely and link up kicks with an opposition such as the dogs. These are the games we should expect to win.

I was thinking the same thing when he was lining up. I think Watts has kicked 10 goals and 2 behinds for the season. If Watts can find a way of getting the ball inside 50m then he could be a real weapon - also is real weapon from 70m out (with that pinpoint kick). I will be honest I doubted that Watts had any real great potential or whether Demonlanders were just hoping he did but if somehow he can add a pinch of Chris Dawes to his game then he could be a great player (That still seems a long way off though). I believe Salem has now kicked a goal in every match he has played except the Queens birthday game

I think I almost had a heart attack. To make it worse my AFL app stuffed up after Salem kicked the goal and all I heard after that was "Zaharakis...3....2.....1" (no footage) then it cut out again Have to go have a shower... dripping in sweat oh I love Paul Roos!

3-4 weeks to get match fit 4-5 games at Casey. 5 games at AFL Sounds reasonable.

Considering it gets dark at about 5:00 - 5:30 it does make a difference (will be a half day game/half night match). I will be there no matter what the time but I for one don't see why they can't make it a day game - I hate having night matches on the eve of busy/working week. Instead of Channel 7 leading straight into the news they could actually try doing a post game show/talk for once - then I might actually consider watching it on TV.

Maybe you should get down to training and blow some wind into the sails of Blease, Tappy and Strauss because Casey doesn't seem to be windy enough for them.

We would need quite a few pies! I think its fair to note that the decision was made at a time when we thought our forward line would consist of Clark, Dawes, Hogan, Watts, Fitzy. Currently I would put Pedo in-between Watts and Fitzy but at the start of the year I thought Fitzy would cement himself at AFL so things could have turned out very different if it wasn't for injury/illness
