If this was a relationship and you had any self respect you’d walk away, but with coaches it’s always about the payout. Settle his contract and move him on or the potential gate loses / merchandise / memberships / players wanting out will far outweigh any potential payout. Petty is only 25 and an established KPD, Fritsch is a gun fwd. Was he hoping after todays effort people realise the problem is bigger than Fritsch’s lack of fwd pressure.

If you were picking a team 3 weeks ago would you rather Liam Jones and Lobb or May and Petty, Harmes and Baker or Viney and Langdon, Naughton & Vandemeer or JVR and Fritsch. The coach has lost the players and doesn’t have a relevant gameplan. We need to be careful to as not trade out everyone at once. Can’t afford to do that and it’s not needed.

We need to make a statement and stand for something.

I know I said this earlier but I’ll say it again. Bowey had the ball across half back, everyone was just walking, no one ran to provide a lead or create space for another player. This has got NOTHING to do with the fact we are missing a couple of players.
