Jack suffered due to poor player development yet somehow is one of best users of the footy and decision makers at the club. Jack is continually discussed because of the no.1 tag, the same tag which has kept him in the game this long. Jack needs to settle in one position, yet he has been given numerous games in numerous positions and failed to make any of them his own. Jack needs to sign a contract or he will put himself under enormous pressure, he needs to go out and show why he should be offered one. Jack continually gets selected, we did have a substantial injury list last year and was still dropped twice. Jack will star at another club, yet no interest from other clubs.

If he doesn't sign a contract early? Needs to be offered one first.

Room for improvement where? There's only one area of his game that needs improving and that's his attack on the footy.Make that two, his tackling.

Jack also still wouldn't be on the list if it wasn't for his draft position. It works both ways. The club didn't hesitate with Toumpas this year and won't next year with him unless he changes the way he plays. He has taken the term outside to a whole new level. People blame his development but he is one of our most skilled and his understanding of the game is right up there. To be fair he had that before he arrived. He failure to impact contacts solely rests with him. In 2016 he is playing for his future in the game, not just with us.

The "no interest from other clubs during the trade period" could well be his last wake up call. 2016 could be his last year in the game and if that's the case he only has himself to blame.

The scary thing is how much money falls under the "emergency/depth".

Why isn't Weitering a forward? Great mark, reads the play well...., in a write up about Schache it talks of accuracy on goals. Everyone grows up wanting to be the forward who kicks the goals. Carlton also need a forward line, I think the order is far from settled.

I think Carlton will take Schache.

Given regular game time I think he would surprise a lot of people. He did play TAC so he's been in system in some capacity for years and does have an understanding of the game. Many will disagree and then go on to make excuses for several players on our list that have failed to deliver for years. We could do worse and we are.

More highlights from his round 23 game away the Tigers then his namesake had all year and can ruck with some effectiveness. Ready made depth player at worst. But we've been through this all before.

Late next year debate will rage about whether Dawes/Grimes/Watts are worth more than an untried kid. No interest from any other club says a lot about the 3.

What the collective contracts of Dawes/Grimes/Watts be? All out of contract at the end of 2016.

We have some players in big money coming out of contract at the end of 2016. It's debatable whether any of them are best 22.

My mate who's involved in coaching at TAC level thinks all the talls worth selecting will be gone by pick 12 but there's some quality there up until about pick 30.

My mate who follows the Swans version of Demonland keeps reading that he might be off to Sydney. Daniel Robinson from Sydney was mentioned, most likely just speculation but as we found out with Trengove last year anything is possible.

Hardly surprising that the concept has gone over your head.In your haste to stomp all over other posters you have again highlighted your lack of knowledge of the games fundamental basics. Some of the most simplistic concepts have to broken right down and re explained in order for you to keep up. In the Chris Dawes thread you asked how I form my opinions, maybe that's something you need to think about. Keep posting away because I'm sure there's a few posters out there that get something out of the rare insight you bring and your feeble attempts at humour whilst they wait for their parents to collect them.
