Will anyone attend training this morning? Any observations will be greatly appreciated. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 21

Personally, I want him to play. It's been a long and slow week on here but at least we can all agree on one thing and that is we need this one on Sunday. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 21

You did state about drawing a long bow but you also stated it's a pretty safe bet Watts has been dropped as he just posted a video on instagram from inside a nightclub. I'm not on instagram and have not seen the video and I do take your word for it which is also backed up by Lord Travis, but, do you believe the reason he is out posting videos is due to his omission? -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 21

You are assuming Watts is having a la la about his omission by going to a nightclub tonight. There is a training session at 9.45am tomorrow and I would be shocked if our players would go to clubs with shiny disco balls and flashy lights on the eve of a main session. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 21

Can't handle the negativity this week especially from this 64" guy or gal. This has been one seriously long week on Demonland, see you all on Sunday. Go Dees!!!! -
His ears must be burning, no matter the time of day, Watts gets a whack. If he is lacking effort the selectors will drop him, full stop. There are many more players to pick on than Watts. Lewis is allowed to kick the ball longer than 30 metres but I rarely see it and don't get me started on the kick that broke Jesses collarbone. Bernie has brain fades every second week. Frost runs like the wind but his decision making the last two weeks has been horrid. Salem's influence since coming back is on par with Watts. The last few weeks don't resemble the team we were in the first half of the season and to single out one bloke is unfair.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 21

When we played the Saints in Round 1 we had Jesse and the Weed in. Jesse destroyed Carlisle that day and the Weed although not as influential did make Brown accountable. We can't afford to bomb the ball time and time again going forward otherwise Carlisle will pick everything off. Im curious to see if we will set up with 2 stay at home forwards or go in small, similar to the Essendon game. -
Best news this week!!! I believe you.

They named it the Welcome Game. Lets hope we welcome the step closer to finals rather than welcoming the national draft and trade period.
-
That's alarming. Let's hope the coaches work it out quick smart. The side hasn't been settled all year apart from the tough patch in the middle of the season when we were forced to play the same 22 basically. We made four changes against Port, the same against GWS. We are up to 36 players used for the season. It's great to get key players back but there is no continuity. It is a shame that everything seems to going downhill at the moment but at least we have 3 weeks to salvage something.

We can bring in the whole Casey team against Brisbane if we get done this week. Bringing Brayshaw in this week doesn't seem too crazy in my opinion, it's not like we need to save him for anything, he has returned for a few games and confidence seems to be there as evident by his numbers in the VFL. We just need some refreshment and he could provide it. Apart from Gus, Hannan is the only other player with a touch of class available.
-
I had a look this morning and I was a bit surprised on our current form we would be that short, for once I hope the bookies have this right. On a side note, MCG estimate for attendance is 37,000, hopefully we get more than that, we need red and blue everywhere.
-
How did the umpire miss the free kick? He was only two metres away. Hope GWS appeal the one week, sole reason we need him to play against the Dogs.
-
I would like to see Gus included this week. He's had a couple of games under his belt, a solid block of training for several weeks prior to playing, will add some grunt, class and hopefully fresh legs. I can't call the out for him though.

8-10 week injury, no damage to ACL, just a crack in the tibia. Source - AFL site.

Richmond are blessed, No Hawkins, Selwood and Duncan against them this week and don't start me on their non-existent injury list.

I was almost done after the North loss down in Tassie, that stung more than anything this year. You choose to overcome it in any way possible, kick the dog, smash the TV, drop the F bomb as loud and as many times as possible making sure the whole street hears you. You avoid football for the rest of the weekend and feel that all hope is lost and you just want to give up. Then Monday pops along and you start your weekly tasks albeit with a heavy heart, as Thursday approaches all is almost forgotten, you see the inclusions and we charter off to a new challenge, we discuss our club again and what the weekend will dish up this time. Come Sunday it starts all over again, you cover yourself in red and blue attire from top to bottom. You take your seat and watch the pre game warm-ups, chat with the fella sitting next to you on what the day will bring. When the 22 run out, you become a kid again, you cheer and scream to get your club over the line, what ever it takes! We are Red and Blue, This is what we do!!!

Losses are a part of football no doubt and we have seen many over the last decade. The disappointing aspect over the last two weeks is the fact we couldn't find an extra mile when it counted. We needed someone to stand up and for one reason or another no one seemed to grab the opportunity and say follow me apart from Maxy yesterday. Everything we stood for as a club has vanished. Pressure gone, quick ball use gone, structures gone. I'm not fussed if people think we are not good enough yet, but we have worked bloody hard this season to give ourselves a chance of one final and to watch that chance vanish meekly is like a punch in the guts.
-
Maybe we should have been training at the shitty Junction Oval the last two weeks to acclimatise.
-
I miss Bugg!
-
He has been.... well I'll stop short of saying awful, cant handle the ball it seems the last two weeks, last week falling over, today fumbling a lot.
-
Everything has gone to crap the last two weeks, is it just me, or did I see some of our players running up and down in the one spot in the last? Fair enough if the constant handballing is part of our game plan, but some of our decision making by hand seems like , here you have it, I can't be bothered with it. Are our players cooked?
-
I'm waiting for the " Relax, we got this!"
-
I like your support mate but the North game was winnable last week too.
