  1. Lol, in that clip he certainly did. Not a bad goal either against us, just trying to determine if it was his nifty footwork or the magnificent attempt to tackle him that created that goal.
  2. Messendon Solution Centre.
  3. Could be as simple as that. He alluded to the fact that Schache started to turn his body while attacking marking contests, could simply be a subconscious issue as he put it. That can clearly be worked on but I haven't seen anywhere near enough of him to say yes or no if he would be a good fit for us. He also compared him to Curnow, same amount of games played and Curnow has shown more.
  4. Stopped yourself short mate? The Dr certainly enlightens us with his repeated comment.
  5. I'm taking a guess and I'd say for some today is their favourite Watts moment.
  6. Mick Mcguane was on SEN a short time ago and gave an insight on Schache. Not sure how to put the link up but he basically stated teams should stay away from him. Mentioned how some young talls find it difficult to transition form U18 level into the AFL early in their careers due to some rules/system the U18 competition has in place for key forwards inside 50. They have a lot more room to work with and can dominate one on one when they are physically stronger than their opponents but they don't have that luxury in the AFL. Also mentioned in his second game of AFL he took 5 contested marks and yet this season he only took 2 in his ten games. He thinks something is amiss with Schache at this stage.
  7. Nice! I literally choked eating my Coco Pops.
  8. Is Smith purely a defender? If so, like stated above how can he fit in the back 6? I don't anything about his junior days, could he play forward? He can jump and attack a contest.
  9. Not a bad team at all, it makes me wonder what kind of money their top half dozen are on when they can fit Rockliff and Motlop in there.
  10. What happened the following year in the draft?
  11. This is why the 2008-2014 period is irrelevant in terms of Jacks performance. No one at the club blossomed in that period, maybe a handful, geez I can't even name them. Supposedly our "brand" is more attractive on field recently, membership numbers have risen to a record level and it's a fact that Jack is popular among the newer members of the MFC, especially the kids. My wife and kids have only been on the scene the last couple of years as members. They love the 2015-17 version of Watts and they can't understand for the life of them why he will be playing in different colours next year and I'm sure other MFC families feel the same. The trade Watts camp on here have made some well thought out comments to argue their case of why a club is bigger than the individual and those views are respected. Some of them though or maybe one have made their dislike for Watts abundantly clear and it sounds almost personal. He has been part of the Red and Blue family for the best part of a decade and it's understandable that people will be somewhat saddened when he changes colours.
  12. Harmes and Dawes. No idea who the guy marvelling at Max is.
  13. The sooner the better, I'm in the Watts camp but hopefully we all move on quickly.
  14. I have nothing to add sorry, except that Watts apparently started following Port players on instagram. Source - The Wife.
  15. Franky, you posted the following in the Jack Watts (again) thread on August 5th. He is playing like someone who believes he will be traded. Was that your opinion purely on observation or did you catch wind of something more behind the scenes?
  16. Doesn't make sense to me either. As if I wasn't confused enough. Does anyone have a clue about the Stringer trade?
  17. If anyone attends the wedding updates would be greatly appreciated.
  18. How many tackles Jumbo or was that a game of touch?
  19. I remember the time you posted the above and a few of us initially responded by saying this was unlikely as Watts attended the MSAC school holiday kids clinic the day before. It would be silly indeed to post it if the club advised him not to go or if he had a compulsory rehab session that day. Its been suggested by other posters that the Byron trip was the last straw and really irked the club. If team protocol has been broken then fair enough, but I see no issue with this if he had a day off or two from club duties.
  20. Yep, got my wife to decipher it. Same conclusion, she's been away for a while. Damn, thought he was staying.
  21. How nice of us to pack him an MFC polo for his trip to Europe.
  22. For real, 27? I'm clueless when it comes to drafts and points systems but surely not. I just read Impey became a Hawk for pick 31 and some swaps later on in draft. 27 seems rich. Not having a go at you by the way, just the asking price.
  23. According to the following, we will be going to the draft with picks 27,35 and 45. http://m.melbournefc.com.au/news/2017-10-12/melbourne-secures-lever-in-trade-deal?camefrom=EMCL_1895168_76481353
  24. No, Watts offers a lot more in my opinion.
