A Day at the Races
Tim Clark rode him last prep in all races. Santos finished second in a trial a couple of weeks ago, not sure what’s going on there. We’ll go with Performer, no Sandbar either.

Andrew Gaff
Would Lycett be worth a look as a backup without giving up too much? Any talk of anyone that’s interested?

NFL
Hi all. I follow Da Bears. I have been browsing the thread every now and more than happy to join a tipping competition if you need some more numbers. I haven’t followed the NFL as closely the last few years although I still enjoy watching games on Foxtel.
-
Round 23 Non MFC Games
Ha Ha, I’m also thinking a back to back triple margin loss for the Dockers.....might get two quarters out of Freo this week.
-
Support Melbourne
What does this even mean? Supporters can’t get to every training session and that makes them what? Do you belong to every club forum or attend games from other clubs to make a statement like that?
-
Round 23 Non MFC Games
The Dockers will be pumped up this weekend. Do it for Danyle Pearce......he’s retiring i believe....hopefully they play him.
-
Brendon Goddard
Must get........hurry....before the lid is closed.

A Day at the Races
Da Bears!!!! Yeah, I’d love to come over and join in the tipping comp, I’ll start only with that, haven’t followed the NFL as closely the last few years, I’ve been reading the thread every few days though. NHL commencing in October to follow all the madness of September. Good times ahead Macca.

A Day at the Races
Love your thinking Macca.....start of September sounds really good to kick off the ‘Trifecta’ amongst other things if you know what I mean. ? Wow, hot field above.....good old ‘Tom Melbourne‘ resuming in September.....sorry, enough with the ‘Omens’.

Chris Judd thinks we celebrated too hard.
Agree with that Layzie, didn’t enjoy Jack so much on the field and that’s even changing now (never thought it would) .....I think he’s been very good on that show in the last couple of years and I liked the part where he said he would love to be the Coleman medalist if it happens this year. A lot of players brush off the question when asked about individual awards but I liked his honesty.

A Day at the Races
Yes, how we can we forget the famous Performer sidestep and he was an early favourite for the Slipper. That was a nasty fall. Must be time soon for the ‘Team Trifecta’ Macca. Happy to go again when you find a suitable selection of races.

The laugh thread
Thought I’d share this article here for a bit of a laugh. It’s a bit tense on the main footy boards today. This is one decent halftime spray from a coach. https://apple.news/AUyxbvx8WQEyIHEcehp6qVw

A Day at the Races
Ha Ha...thanks Macca. I remember you mentioning the match-up between Sandbar and Santos last week. This race should be a beauty, I can’t wait. Final fields will be out tomorrow of course and will start the studying as soon as they are listed. I’ll have the latest on Santos later in the week.

Chris Judd thinks we celebrated too hard.
Jack Riewoldt on AFL 360 said he can’t understand why there needs to be negative commentary around celebrations like that after a game when the question was put to him.......12 years.....12 bloody long years of misery. Lewis added that once on the plane home everything returned to business as usual.

The total number of games played by the 22 that took the field on Sunday... (spooking may occur)
Oh....I forgot...Go Freo!!!! The 100 can wait.

Gawn will play his 100th this season. Guess which game?

HATCH MATCH & DESPATCH 2018
Goddard, hey? Anyone think he can make it as an assistant coach? I mean, he tried hard telling his teammates what to do all the time.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Oliver is human after all although you could argue he meant to get the ball to Hannan for a score involvement.
-
Tagging Whitfield
Could well be the case that Harmes goes to him, Harmes might go to Ward also. The few GWS games I’ve watched Ward has been their best midfielder.

POST MATCH DISCUSSION - Round 22
Roosy On the Couch highlighted the below Jones’ effort in the last quarter as a critical contest for us regaining the lead. The ‘ Toe Poke’! Getting pushed by Yeo, Jones shows his determination by winning the ball any way possible. Controls the ball with his foot, picks it up, handballs to Gawn and the rest is history.
