  1. Ha Ha. So @Macca beat me to Seabrook, Voodoo was a safe choice for me too but you’ve gone bang with him. I’ll leave Le Romain for binman, now I have to go back and look some more.
  2. I’ll give 100/1 for Hartnell if you like Wadda?. I wonder why they chose not to run him on Saturday. Edit: The odds posted by Macca were prior to acceptances so maybe the betting was kept safe with Hartnell.
  3. Braydon Preuss anyone? I wouldn’t mind him as a backup if he came cheap. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-30/dees-emerging-as-surprise-suitor-for-big-roo
  4. Interesting if true. Brisbane are prepared to offload pick 4. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-30/lions-trying-to-lure-star-docker-to-the-gabba
  5. I’ll tap you on the shoulder and say hello. 8 of us M5 Row N.
  6. The no idea part, I stated as such Wadda. The ‘don’t comment’ line directed at me , well, maybe he should read the whole thread before commenting. The discussion was simply on the Auld interview where i posed a few questions and received some extremely measured responses. Anyway, looks like ticketek is flying this morning.
  7. A few Richmond friends text me and said they had tickets secured within 5 minutes of logging on.
  8. Noted Saty.....the above is something you’re good at too.
  9. Goodness, it’s been mentioned earlier in the thread but there’s a chance this has happened to a number of people and unbeknownst to them, their email is still doing laps in cyber space. When they try again today their membership barcodes might not be valid. Small positive would be the Richmond game is on sale first today and we’d hear if problems continue online.
  10. That wasn’t my intention rjay, I have no idea how these agencies work. I was only repeating the comment by Travis Auld this morning to highlight the blame pointed at the MCC whereas Optus Stadium must be receiving praise from the AFL for choosing Ticketmaster which dealt with much less traffic on their servers.
  11. Travis Auld on SEN was interviewed a short time ago and I heard the same. Basically said the blame falls on the MCG/MCC. Are they simply at fault because the chose a ticket provider that couldn’t handle the online traffic? Who actually schedules the release days and time for tickets? Is it the stadiums? The West Coast game sold 50,000 tickets without a hitch in two hours via Ticketmaster.
  12. I second the above if anyone has time to do a dash to an outlet. For anyone from the northern suburbs of Melbourne or surrounding areas I highly recommend the Craigieburn outlet. I was told the Greensborough outlet receives too much traffic. The lady at Craigieburn ticketek is extremely competent. She opened up at 7:30am to let us in the store and gave us a number (raffle ticket) in the order we arrived. She then asked for our phone number that’s linked to our ticketek account and left that page on her screen for when we returned at 9:00am. I was 15th in line and got to her by 9:30-9:40 and because of all the earlier recorded details all she needed to do was scan all the memberships and enter the category. 5 minutes later all 8 of us had seats together. I also tried online while waiting my turn and had the same trouble as most. I was just fortunate enough to have the morning off to attempt a double play. Hope it works out for all involved tomorrow.
  13. Damn shame that so many missed out today. You can’t come up with any more words to describe today’s events. What more could go wrong tomorrow? Double booked seats?
  14. Are the additional tickets/guest passes per membership exhausted?
  15. No way????? Richmond fans were filthy as it was at the ticketek outlet, as all they were able to get was the nosebleed section regardless what category they requested. They had to cop it on the chin.
  16. Ticketek Craigieburn worked a treat. Line isn’t big if anyone wants to do a mad dash. I tried online whilst in line and had major issues. I have a spare barcode also, PM if anyone needs one.
  17. Anyone else too excited to sleep? Just got off work and did some serious ANB kilometres, still buzzing. Can finally dig into the September Fund.

  19. That’s the MCC Jaded.
  20. Club says the email will be received this morning.
  21. I just spoke to Ticketek Greensborough outlet and asked them how early they recommend getting there. Was told there are people camping out since this morning in the car park for tickets.
  22. Agreed, only issue for me is I need to get 7 tickets in total. Thinking it might be a bit of a task online with having to enter individual barcodes for 7 members.
  23. Thankfully tickets are on sale tomorrow so we can have a full day to get one’s bearings. Does anyone recommend travelling down to the local ticketek stand or is online the better option?
  24. Soccer’s equivalent to Razor Ray perhaps....
  25. If a bit of ‘ Jerry, Jerry, Jerry’ doesn’t fire you up on game day, nothing will.
