@Macca @Diamond_Jim Do you recall the implementation of the Silver Goal rule in Euro 2004? If a team was leading by the end of the first half of extra time the game would end. Wow, VAR again. Penalty awarded to Senegal then overturned and I’m not sure why. Commentator mentioned an arm being flung back at Sanchez as to the possible reason but to me Sanchez had already started sliding and made contact with the knee prior to the Senegalese arm making contact and hardly any contact at that.
