In the warm up Lockhart had no trouble making the distance from similar range. You can notice on the replay Lockhart calling out Melksham in an attempted subtle manner and signalling with his eyes that he would pass it off to him. It looked like time wasting to me. Also, why wasn’t Melksham given the full 30 seconds after he signalled he was having a shot. He was told to play on after 15 seconds. Is there a different rule for outside 50 shots?

Did anyone catch the clip of the boys in a circle just before the opening bounce doing some sort of chant? It looked like Nibbler and Jeffy were in the middle orchestrating.

Jeffy was the first player Goody went to RN when the siren blew and gave him a massive cuddle, as if to say “what a tackle Jeffy” late in the game.

Since the sack everyone mega thread is closed for the week, perhaps we should suggest Andre Gianfagna be sacked or relegated to some bush league for missing the most blatant of 50s today in the history of the game.

O Mac divides DL again. When our better ball users in Lewis and Fritsch were turning the ball over time and time again in the first half , O Mac showed them up by hitting targets out of defence. I thought it was his best game of the season so far.

Listening to 3AW on the way home, they commented the second 50 by Harmes was unlucky because OMac on the mark moved to his right a fair bit albeit fairly which made Harmes look like he was encroaching. Is that what happened?

Hopefully it’s only that, if his leg was bandaged up during the game I didn’t notice.

If we said we’d kick 11 goals for the game a win would be unlikely. Brilliant team effort, especially in the second half. Guts personified. 3 years later and we are still wishing him good luck. Like the poster(s) above, the last memory of Dunn was his over the top celebration becoming an extra kick in the guts to some supporters after our woeful final round performance of 17. We all wish things could be different Dunny at one stage or another.
