  1. I’ll just leave it as is and see what happens tomorrow. Good luck if you’re having a go tonight Macca.
  2. Cheers Macca, will go to the bench a little later and find another.
  3. So desperate for footy now I’ve watched the clip about 20 times to see who’s out there. Looks like Max has plonked himself a kick behind the play, Tomlinson running up and down the wing and a couple of good handballs by the forwards whilst being tackled just before the finish by Kozzie.
  4. Best Bet Saturday Warwick Farm Race 3 Number 3 Pandemic $2.40
  5. I think Cornes just asked them how preseason is going.
  6. Not a fan, only because Coles’ opposition is my employer. That green W, apple, pumpkin or whatever it is would look much better.
  7. Burgo’s ‘ Daily Camp Diary’ a few years back was great quality and one that most remember for good reason. I thought this year we were getting more content as opposed to last year, the quality didn’t quite stack up to Burgo but i guess it comes down to what the individual craves. All I remember from last year’s camp was Hibbo doing some sort of tribal dance in the middle of the group and Salo’s Barber Shop.
  8. It doesn’t actually say how many times we’ve had the opportunity Pates. I can only think of 2. The game you speak of, where Hunt had a shot from about 70 out and the Weid miss last year as Fork ‘em mentions above.
  9. It was nip and tuck all game Pennant. I remember the game shouldn’t have gotten to that point. Stephen Powell had a shocking miss late in the game. From memory it would have put us by a couple of kicks but he rushed the shot from 20m out and I think he missed the lot.
  10. Classic stuff, we are 1 of 2 clubs to be beaten after the siren by a former player. At least it was The Wiz.
  11. Good, send Richmond to play them for the opening game of 2021. A bit sick of watching Carl v Rich open the season.
  12. Ice hockey does it best DJ. Some of the top TV commentators make the game more exciting than it looks, that’s if you enjoy the sport. Radio commentary of the game goes to another level though. Such a fast sport and the detail is immaculate. I guess they don’t have time to talk gibberish.
  13. Have our QLD reporters done the Slip-Slop-Slap yet? Nearly time....

49ers 22 - Chiefs 19 Good luck to all you Niners fans.
  15. Oh man, I think it’s time for our QLD correspondents to go undercover. A quick lap of the sports complex, if that fails find out where they are staying and rock up as a pizza boy with some pizzas. Worst case scenario we’ll hear something from Sunday’s open session.
  16. Apologies if it’s been mentioned already, I haven’t seen it listed anywhere until a short time ago. According to an AFL.com article about additional matches in the pre-season I came across this. - Essendon and Melbourne players not required in the Marsh Series will head to Casey Fields for a practice match on February 21. - ADDITIONAL PRE-SEASON HITOUTS CONFIRMED Geelong v Collingwood – Thursday February 13 – GMHBA Stadium – TBC Gold Coast v Brisbane – 7pm, Saturday February 15 – Metricon Stadium – 7pm – 4x25min Carlton v Collingwood – 4pm, Thursday February 20 – IKON Park – 6x25min Melbourne v Essendon – Friday February 21 – Casey Fields – TBC Hawthorn v St Kilda – 5pm, Friday February 28 – Morwell – 4x25min Adelaide v Port Adelaide – 12pm, Saturday February 29 – Thebarton Oval – 4x25min We get an earlier look at some of the boys even if it’s only one day.
  17. Gus just needs to stop trying to smother Bedford’s kicks. In the same week Bedford has kicked a ball into his family jewels and put his arm in a brace for a few weeks.
  18. The most pleasing thing out of the Trac interview is to hear we nearly have 2 squads out there participating in drills. Our injury toll of last year has been discussed at length and the effect it had on our season but to hear Trac say some of our match sims were 10 v 10 ( he’s probably not even exaggerating) makes you realise just how bad it was at times. Some say poor management, some just bad luck, either way not much can be done on the track with numbers like that. Stay fit boys and hopefully with a near full list we can get a few early wins to hit the ground running then who knows, we just might get on a roll in 2020.
