Another great article on our captain.
Smiling, he looks like a gargantuan garden gnome. That had me in stitches, terrific read.

Grand Final Celebration at the G
The way I read it is the club is hoping to get 40,000 there, not a limit of 40k. They stated they want as many supporters as possible to attend.

A Day at the Races
Yeah Iâd say spell for sure now. Had my chance in the Turnbull and Cox with VEâŠwasnât a bad bet I thought as a long range one. Was just looking at the finishing order and it showed the lack of quality outside the top 3 really. It pays 160k down to 12th and Miami Bound (12th) finished 22.45 lengths off VE. Sheâs Ideel 10th and 19 lengths behind. Still, I wouldnât complain picking up 160k, covers the bills for at least 4 years.

A Day at the Races
Good work Macca, awesome win by a wonderful racehorse. Just got home from FlemâŠwarm one out there. I placed a bet a couple of months ago on Verry Elleegant to win 3 Group 1s this spring at $67. Any chance they can run her in one more G1 this spring to get to 3 wins lol. Ended up throwing a little saver on her at $22âŠmain bet was Spanish Mission each way. Did ok out of the Cup but no luck in the previous races.

A Day at the Races
Yeah Derby day is awesome for racing GorgâŠvalue galore. Finished a little down but Iâm still coming to terms with Icebath just losing. Pretty much everything was hinged on the horseâŠ.wouldâve won a fair bit but thatâs the game.

A Day at the Races
Wow, big news MaccaâŠhuge blow for connections. Buffalo Riverâs scratching in the Crystal Mile leaves Elephant very short now. Would have loved to hear Matt Hill get creative calling Elephant, Buffalo and Rhinoceros over the line as the first 3.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I thought the umpiring was very good on the night, happened to be watching the replay when i posted and was only channeling a game-day thread.

A Day at the Races
That sounds good for the double. And an intriguing field contesting the Cox Macca.

A Day at the Races
Was just looking at it Gorg. Noticed a bit of money has come for last years Derby winner in Johnny Get Angry. $51 to $41âŠnot racing well but this isnât as hard as his last few. Sneaky chance for a place. I fancy the 14 Hasta La War at each way odds. Also, mateâs horse is going around at Naracoorte tomorrow in R6 El Magnificence. Horse has a bit of history here, doesnât win out of turn but has managed two in a row and his latest win over 1200 was his first win over that distance in 17 attempts. Much travelled horse and onto his 5th trainer. Early career looked promising, even got within 7 lengths of Nature Strip in one Flem race a few years back. Looking back 7 lengths is not too bad lol.

Just saw footage on the telly of a few boys training at Goschs today. Trac, Tomlinson, Viney and T Mac.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
5 mins to go in the 3rd quarter replay. Kozzie stiff not to get a high tackle, Harmes equally stiff just prior. Also, I wouldnât have paid the mark to JJ over Bowey, Bont clearly touches the ball first.
