  1. How bad? I was at a packed B&F on Friday, the positivity in the room was palpable, if you want to believe all the garbage peddled by the media, that is your choice.
  2. That is the whole point, it is a fabrication or so it seems and it is undermining the club. Most of the so called issues have been driven by the media
  3. It gives you a reference number, which I can quite happily follow up direct with a few AFL personages, easy to find emails. I am seriously over this so called modern sports journalism
  4. I have made an official complaint re this post on the AFL website, as it implies that the AFL is supporting Barrett to undermine the Melbourne Football Club, I will keep everybody posted on the sort of reply I get, helpful knowing a couple of 'independent' journalists if I get the brush off.
  5. You mean the 2 line whiner, the whole time I have been on this board, that particular poster has never had anything positive to say about the club, hence my comment. True, you can support in many ways, but it is all mouth and trousers on here, to use an English vernacular, never hear the voices at the AGM or face to face when they have the opportunity. If posters backed up some of their more expansive views, I wouldn't mind, but when you ask them to, the silence is deafening.
  6. There is difference between making a constructive criticism or critique and backing it up, rather than just whining and saying everybody who doesn't agree with me is delusional. Agree it is forum where all opinions should be respected, sadly on here that is not the case. My definition of a supporter, if you have an issue, stand up at the AGM or speak to the person face to face, not hide behind a nickname. I spoke to Goody just before his speech he was definitely not slurring, but if it persists on here, one of the so-called media will pick it up and......of course give the whiners something else to whine about. I know drunk people, I see them getting up and down constantly at the game, off for a [censored] or another beer whilst checking their multi....true supporters.
  7. Succinctly, I got bored s******s with the constant negativity and the same bullying minority who demanded everybody agree with them Unfortunately they still rule the forum to an extent, but I was asked by a few supporters and posters in person, as I don't feel the need to hide, to post again. I started on this topic as I knew the bullies would be out in force sniping at anything they could about the B&F. The disgusting comments about Goody supposedly slurring words, didn't seem that way live or the good conversation I had with him. I think a lot of the negativity these days comes from the team on match days spoiling a 'supporter's multi.
  8. Wrong, I ask them to back up their opinion, which they are entitled to, but most don't as they find it easier to incessantly whine, demanding others follow their opinion, because that is the only one that is right. If other posters disagree they are told they are delusional, looking through rose coloured glasses etc. Forums are for discussion, except for Demonland of course, home of the disgruntled supporter who craves agreement to their opinion Opinion which is usually based on what some highly paid click baiter has written, and we must agree mustn't we, don't want to be seen as a nuffy.
  9. I just don't whinge incessantly without backing it up. SWYL usual input to any topic is 1 or two lines of whiny negativity. It's tiresome. Was I happy with how the year went, definitely not. Did I discuss it face to face with some in the Club at the B&F last night, sure did, never one to hide behind a nickname on a forum. Do I want to see improvement this year, hopefully yes. Do I believe the [censored] pushed by journalists and pundits, definitely not. Do I think some of the young kids at the club are going to lead the way, after speaking to some last night, definitely.
  10. I accept the fact we have a few on here, including your fine self, who do nothing but whinge and whine, never anything constructive. Maybe you need to go and 'support' another Club. I was at the B&F and understood what each speech set out to achieve . It's footy, each year each club gets a crack at winning a premiership, but it takes a bit of luck, hard work and everybody on the same page, unfortunately this year we had a couple of books open instead,
  11. I was there, I told Clarry to [censored] in the bushes in his garden....coz that is where Tom Morris will be hiding
  12. Nobody is forcing you to listen, then you won't have to whine.
  13. Are you in at the Club every day....because if not, like all of us you have NFI
  14. Speculate is correct, based on rumour, hearsay, clickbait media etc etc. What mess?
  15. Laughing stock....and you actually care about that...says more about you and others than Pert....FFS it's footy....I am more concerned about the Middle East exploding and the whole world being dragged in....then there will be no footy
  16. In what way? Like most of Richmond's top 5 in the B & F want out, Dan Houston wants out of Port, Bailey Smith wants out of the Bulldogs?
  17. Dear MFC, As in the past there is a small group of so called supporters who use various forums to express their displeasure with many aspects of the Club. It doesn't matter what you do, only another premiership will placate them, well at least for a while. Some have no experience whatsoever in running any department in an AFL level footy club but think that they know better, not that they volunteer their time to actually do anything about it. Will be interested to see what transpires over the Trade and Draft period, no matter what happens, nobody will die and we will have a list ready to go for the 2025 season and whatever that may bring. It is just unfortunate that the media, for want of a better word, need to continually attract click bait to justify their existence, Is there a problem at 9 that made Kane Cornes move to 7, probably not, probably more money will do it or more opportunity, strange footy players are not allowed the opportunity to do the same without everything being questioned. Anyway looking forward to the B & F tomorrow night, sad that I had to stop the volunteering due to work commitments but will still be a player sponsor, (including the bit of Bayley Fritsch I share with others), will renew my membership and my partners and get on with the rest of my life, coz I have one.
  18. Nobody is forcing you to listen to or read it, but then again what would have to whinge about if you didn't, try getting out more.
  19. Oh no...not an influencer....bit like Laura Loumer then......he/she is not Chinese by any chance and whispers a lot?
  20. And the name of your source and the position he/she holds at either club. Or just hearsay and rumour. A lot on here will go, you mean those who have never changed jobs because of better opportunity, more money, didn't like the workplace etc etc, I think that's called hypocrisy isn't it?
  21. Do you really believe everything that is reported in the media....probably coz you wouldn't have anything to post about kicking the club....Let’s see if we actually sign him....then you can go all in..I take it this is your first trade period with all the associated scuttlebutt
  22. If they move the admin office the trophies, which are at present in a display in the boardroom at the MCG, will move as. well. Oh that's right Debt Demolition, shows the boards in the past were wonderful.
  23. I am sure, even though we do have a lot of young players, the instruction "don’t shake that peanuts hand or pat him on the backside" would be regarded as childish by them. Note the distaste for Hinkley after last night.
