No sorry, you don't get out of it that easy, what issues need reviewing, you and other posters say there are major issues with the club, what are they?
-
Again, a list of the issues that need reviewing, not the footy department, and not hearsay. The Footy Department will have an end of season review, to try and figure out what went wrong, maybe it was Pert and Roffey taking the midfield/forward connection, or coaching the centre square stoppages, I knew we shouldn't have involved them. But seriously the footy review has already started, Stafford, Schache, Ferris White out, some of the young players re signed to longer deals etc etc.
-
It was not the Club that started the legal issues, we have 2 driven by 2 egos who think they have been wronged. What do you want Pert to say "we have nothing to report on the Home Base" If there is progress I assume we will be informed, probably during the AGM unless Lawrence and his little band of sycophants try and disrupt it again with meaningless questions. What are the reasons?, nobody has said what they are and I am not expecting anybody to provide any, it is just mob rule. A clean bill of health for what? "What do we want?"...."Er' When do want it?"..."What?"
-
It is sent out with the notification of the AGM, which I have attended every year for the last 15.
-
Review what though? List the issues, nobody has up to now and the reason they need to be reviewed. And cue.......
-
I always received a letter or email or proxy form, as there were only 3 nominees or whatever for 3 positions, elected unopposed, not sure which bit you are not getting.
-
Whoops forgot to quote, but elected unopposed In order for a poll of votes to happen; you need more candidates to be nominated than there are seats. In an English parish council for example, there might be 7 councillors to be elected, yet only five villagers get nominated. In this example, everyone who was nominated is automatically elected unopposed.
-
Best for the club? Like taking them to court? Yeah right.
-
Elected unopposed, means they were elected to the board, nobody disagreed,
-
Yes they were, they were elected unopposed, it is only since Lawrence decided that a vote has taken place and HE HAS LOST.

Our membership level is still close to 65000, apart from the 2 Saturday games were our so called supporters didn't bother to show (I might review as to why they are so complacent), we should make an operating profit. The sponshorship, both corporate and individual is nearly full. Our season on the field was a bit of a failure, due to a myriad of issues within the playing list, injury, form etc, had nothing to do with the Board. Everybody is continually banging on about the Home Ground, if the Board from 30 years ago had got going and purchased or leased the land then, we would have one, the actual cost of land if we don't have one on hold at the moment is astronomical when you are competing with property developers. Yarra Park was considered, but unfortunately the good citizens of East Melboure [censored] on that one, no fault of the board, same with the area near Marvel, could not compete with the developers. If Tracc comes out and says he wants a trade, then I will believe it, of course nobody on here has ever changed their jobs because they didn't like the environment/culture and whatever other buzz word is in use at the time. Caulfield is a massive undertaking which will take time. Am I satisified with how things are going, generally yes, disappointed with the season, but already looking forward to the new season, with the young talent we have on board, signed and sealed. Will I renew my membership, yes, will I continue to sponsor 1 and a bit players yes, do I support the club yes, do I whinge and whine for a living no.

And how do you know a lot of people would agree with it, try doing a percentage of who has binned it already on here, I just sent him a reply telling him not to send me any more.
-
What the grass not green enough to run on. Oh dear
-
I will reply to this again....I do or have done plenty for the Club. Just don't feel the need to advertise it. I am not interested in the slightest with what Lawrence has got to say. If he coughed up the Club's legal fees I might. It was not triumphalist. It was stating a fact, he lost AGAIN.
-
Faction. One definition is contentious and self seeking. Or do you mean hearsay
-
And who says that, or just click bait again
-
David King should know about waffle, why oh why is any oxygen given to the click baiters, "finals is a week off, what can we talk about" Let's see how pre season pans out. Any volunteers on here to give up their time to be on the board, unpaid of course. Apart from Lawrence of Aggrandizement, who is all things perfect.
-
The 3 word is easy for this game, similar to a few others this season, that have occurred for a myriad of reasons, hopefully some of which will be rectified next season. Poor team performance
-
You mustn't read many of the post match threads on here then.
-
So another one who just watches games for mistakes?
-
The whole Peter Lawrence situation is weird, he got nominated, didn't get the votes, had a sulk, took the club to court, didn't win, sulked, wants to ask 'us' for his support, if he doesn't get it he will sulk again no doubt, if he wants to waste money, give it to charity. They might name something after him, that is obviously something he needs to make his life complete. I just find him rather sad.
-
Sorry, were you facing the right way, he is in everybody else's best
-
Not me Cap'n, just don't like somebody who won't accept the umpire's decision
-
He will only ever be satisfied if he gets on the Board. Wonder if he is a fan of Trump. I would never vote for a supporter who takes my Club to court
-
Everybody seems to be forgetting, Lawrence of Aggrandisement was nominated and he didn't get enough votes, then did a Trump and claimed it was rigged. Passionate about the club my [censored], he has cost the club time and money.
