Not annoyed are we, what a shame, it was a bit of topical humour aimed at polls, should have typed it waving a sheaf of paper and doing a Joel Fitzgibbon impression,.
-
Oh I have go it now, you have a Vlad phone sitting next to your computer, what are they going to do?
-
You can have as many polls as you like, it is only the one at the AGM that matters WYL

Wow five likes IVA, that's a lot of posters who agree with you, Jackson is not a head kicker as you so eloquently put it, he is an experienced CEO, what will you do if he doensn't kick heads, or kick the heads you think should be kicked. I read what Newbold wrote, he also said the majority of support was Hawthorn, no they weren't, they were the supporters who stayed away in droves you only need to ask OPEL, how many photos were taken with Jack Grimes and Mitch Clark before the game at their stand outside of Gate 3 to see how many Melbourne supporters turned up, I expect the same this week. The membership is only about 3000 down, St Kilda's is 8000 down, you don't see them wanting to sack everybody The effort and commitment has been building in the players, it would help if we could get through a couple of weeks without another senior player going down with injury or suspension What is the reality of the AFL footy world, we are the second most inexperienced list in the AFL, GWS is the most, hence bottom and second bottom, yes I would like a couple of more wins but we are not getting them but as long as each week the effort continues to rise (personally don't think we will see a Gold Coast effort again) I will happily wait till the end of the season to see how it has panned out.

The normal negative [censored] posters will have a go at me, but had about half a dozen chats with Josh Mahoney, at training and at functions over the last year or so, said hello to him at Sandringham last Saturday, where he was watching along with Craig and Neeld I found him to be very knowledgeable, still settling into the role, all that has happened in last 18 months has been a steep learning curve but he has been up to the challenge and still wants to be Swooper is spot one with what he said, Josh thought "coaching would be different1 if i can paraphrase him, and wanted a change, he is well regarded but inexperienced as PJ has noted, I would be very surprised if he misses out in any restructure Soldee and HH, if you don;t know any facts, try not to comment, it only makes you look silly
-
"between Caroline Wilson and Francis Leach (both off whom i rate as knowledgable and objective commentators)".....you are being sarcastic......... aren't you?
-
WYL, I understand you think 186 is still a problem and I have been searching high and low and spent many a sleepless night, but I think I have found the answer http://blog.san-ss.com.ar/2011/03/project-euler-problem-186-solved.html

73 is Taggert, 72 is Barry, 58 is Tynan, 45 is Hogan of course........they are all in numbers over 50, think Couch is in 60 something On the Club Website
-
Hello Col, WYL didn't wake you from your afternoon nap did he, try and put something constructive old chap to add to the debate, rather than your usual attack on me and others,....oh sorry....forgot that's all your capable of
-
No he is not, haven't heard him say it, that is what the media are saying, you may be right, but let us hear it from Peter Jackson's moutn, Don McLardy said this is his statement " Peter Jackson has been asked by the Board to examine every aspect of the Club and today he outlined a number of changes he believes are required to take our Club forward. In coming weeks and months we will seek to change the structure of the Football Department as well as a number of other aspects of our business." He believes, we will seek, not it is totally stuffed as you seem to be inferring, this is what peeves me, and makes you appear clueless read what it says, not what Caroline Wilson says it says. You have no idea and neither do I as to what is wrong and what changes will take place Beautifully written, hopefully you are including some supporters
-
Into what mess, we have covered this a thousand times on previous posts, the membership is a bit below expectations, we have a fine and Schwab's payout, cause of blowout........we still have over 30000 members, 2 major sponsors and a myriad of other sponsors Maybe the Footy Dept does needs restructuring (we are told Peter Jackson is looking at it, and the rest of the Club as well) We have signed him till the end of 2014, let's wait and see what he says and does before blowing off A lot of this is caused by the on field, if we had another couple of wins under our belts, half this rubbish wouldn't have even hit the papers, hopefully now Neeld and the players can concentrate on the next couple of games and get that right As for the rest, I will wait until Peter Jackson speaks
-
When did Jackson comment about the set up, are you on the board? I have listened to everything, and all he quoted was what I said above that perhaps it was too inexperienced, he did mention four people reported directly to the CEO but did not elaborate further, so you are interpreting that as criticism of Schwab. We have heard nothing since, except from the media
-
Schwab polarised people, so now every mistake that is supposedly evident is his fault, have you seen Peter Jackson's list, the only thing I have heard Jackson say re the Footy Dept was that it was perhaps too inexperienced to deal with all that has been thrown at it in the last 18 months, all the rest again is media speculation.......Caroline Wilson who hated Scwhab is driving this again I am not defending Schwab, he went with dignity, but let's see what Peter Jackson SAYS....not what the media think he is going to say
-
Well soxy, left leaning labor voter....class war again hey.....Schwab made some errors but the blazer and the crest was trying to establish a club identity it reflects the Club history, I have asked face to face about 95% of the current playing list, they all love the blazer because of what it stands for, it is only meant to be worn on special occasions, so where is the problem?....Jim Stynes and Barassi were both proud to wear one......

I know you won't read this post, so I can say whatever I like, I admire you for actually buying a membership and supporting the club. But the fact that you are in the West and only see how many games live? each year, the rest of the time assume you are watching and listening to the TV/Cable so therefore your views may be slightly skewed by the so called unbiased commentary accompanying the said vision. Also the fact you are so far away and unable to attend training/functions/meetings etc, leaves you vulnerable to again only basing your opinions on a.what you read on here or b. from media, rather than the actual people involved in the Club, of course this leads you to also pissing on anything I quote as hearing from a player or official of the Club as spin One fact you may have gleaned from my posts is that I don't suffer fools, so if I am bullshitted to by a player or official I am quite able to recognise the same As for your post above, for a supporter, that is a rather sad post, as another poster has said, you seem to be hoping that it actually happens so you are proved right
-
"I see the way Mark Neeld speaks to people publicly"........do you mean the journalists he has to face up to every week, I would treat them with contempt as well, I have spoken to him at least half a dozen times and he has always listened and answered every question I have had truthfully.....could you please elaborate
-
No Peter Jackson has been sitiing in his office with the door closed, just reading the Herald Sun and listening to SEN
-
So when you walk into a room, your charisma floors everybody else? Vanilla? I would be the same when approached by any supporter at the moment. This is a guy who does a job voluntarily that has thrown one time bomb after another for the last 12 months
-
That is nothing but all about Barrett, the media person, I won't call him a journalist, has become the story
-
That's the whole point. you watch and then come on here and just whinge and whine, why put yourself through it, as I have said before it doesn't matter whether you have supported the team for 5 minutes or 50 years, if you don't enjoy it why bother, it hints at latent masochism........a lot of posters don't whine and whinge on here, they offer constructive thought, there is a group on here that is just "sack everybody we are crap"
-
You are a class act really aren't you, some real insights into the topic in your posts, and you wonder why the Board doesn't pay much attention to DL......er not sure really........I have been a bit quiet, living my life, but this topic has the Orcs making a bit of noise, so thought I better joiin RM and a couple of others, just to show some posters are actually capable of rational thought
-
Then why do you watch?
-
That's very amusing, tell you what, if you work, let us all come to watch you, and if you [censored] it up, do we get to laugh as well
-
I was sat with a group of about 12 or 15 supporters yesterday, we had organised to go as a group, we all sat through the end, general consensus was yes it's horrible but let's just leave it and see what we see in the second half of the season, then everyone can have a breather and make the proper decision.....I want to see Clark and Dawes on the field together, with Grimes and Sylvia added to the middle mix
-
So you agree with Shane Crawford and what he wrote in the Age,
