Actually I think if you are a regular member of the AFL side then there are no issues with how you are playing, ie you are playing your role and doing exactly what the coaches have told you to do, so there is not much to add, we are all actually liking the fact that Roos makes players earn games, or if they are not performing they are out of the team, Michie, Toumpas, Mc Kenzie and then through Allison's reviews we find out why they were dropped and what they have to do to get back in

It is a very grey area unfortunately, I think it is a sort of honour system a lot of the time, this is supposedly passed down through the family, I am a bit dubious, why wreck it by putting a number on, numbers weren't introduced into VFL till 1911 so 11 years after the jumper was supposedly, you wouldn't wear it, and footy jumpers progressed quite quickly, if it was so precious to the family and why frame it? I have a few doubts it is the genuine article, will be interested to see whether it goes and for how much

OD with you on this one, unfortunately, (as you know I wear 39 on my jumper so I am absolutely bloody horrified), but I have an anecdote to share, there were 3 indigenous visitors (2 males one female) to Melbourne from WA, (they had been invited to the Melbourne Cup) trying to find a motel in East Melbourne, I actually saw a couple cross the road rather than talk to them and then they got a gobful of abuse from a passing car, I stopped to assist them, mentioned Nev and then had a great footy conversation for about 15 minutes, I now proudly wear a wristband they gave me to say thanks

Yes but what do you know about Welsh, apart from a lot of the heresay posted on here? I would be interesed to know what you are basing your opinion on Welsh's coaching mantra is based on DI's defensive involvements and pressure acts, so same page as Roos, his frustration comes from the week previous against the Northern Blues (so Carlton AFL listed players in the side) Casey had gutsed out a hard fought win in atrocious conditions, this week with only two changes to the side in Toumpas and Riley, the side blew a 30 point lead to a standalone VFL side, not through lack of skill but effort

Obviously and as per the norm, you wilfully misinterpreted what I post, I have criticised the MFC players who didn't perform in the second half of the game that is supposedly the subject of this post, couldn't quite grasp that then, out of character for me, ruin your whole tirade. I posted that I agreed with what Welsh said, these are players that are supposed to be interested in playing for the AFL side so therefore in the second half you would expect them to lift and dominate a team that they had dominated for a half, they didn't, the lack of grunt in the last quarter really disappointed me, I even told Jordie McKenzie to his face last night on how disappointed I was with the 'team' effort in the last quarter, but i am actually looking forward to seeing Brett Allison's take on the game, perhaps I got it wrong Let me think "list clogging spud' oh that's right it is a constructive criticism

Then you can disagree, I have sat with MFC supporters and been utterly disgusted with the behaviour towards their own players, you get it in print on here, so please don't lecture me.
