Whoops, old age, yes sorry had previously mentioned him, and Dawes No sign of Hogan, Byrnes, Clisby, King, Spencer, Trengove, Barry
-
I won't quote makes the topic too big The players were switched on from the get go, lots of talk, lots of encouragement There were a couple of drills which required players to get through a defensive group which then became the attacking group against a new defensive group which then became an attacking group..so yes two way running
-
Only when it is untrue rubbish posted, check your posts first, maybe you don't respond to bully boy tactics, most of the MFC and Casey players don't seem to have a problem with it And we replace Welsh with who? Go on say one of our development coaches? What if the teams play on the same day?

Frawley did the whole session, asked him, said he was ready to go and looking forward to it Last 20 minutes of session, midfield group stood in a circle in middle of ground with lots of discussion , pointing, repositioning think the coaching group are still not happy with some of the centre bounce setups, all playes seemed to be allowed input as well...Stafford did a lot of talking interestingly Spoke to Nev Jetta as to why he had pulled out of Richmond game, said he had a bit of gastro but thought he would be ok to play, but concerned that if he had a bad game he would let the team down and may lose his place, preferred to do the team thing and pull out Spoke to quite a few players just to say hello, one thing that struck me is that they are all really looking forward to the game on Saturday, and it is not just empty words, you can sense the renewed belief Watts was sublime in the kicking drills today, most drills consisted of spreading from stoppages, and full lenght from kickouts Believe Casey have some sort of praccy match in next couple of days so some left early, leaving the team that played Richmond plus Jetta, Nicholson, McKenzie and Georgiou, so that may point in some way to emergencies If you have any questions feel free to ask

Demonland myth
-
Oh you mean they were offered better deals elsewhere, and decided to take them, the captain stayed, and so did 2 of the top finishers from Casey players B & F, or do you have an issue with that as well, you don't let facts get in the way of your conspiracy theories do you

From November last year, Salem, JKH, Hunt etc are all bigger now in kgs...all I know is JKH hasn't grown in height think 173 is nearer the mark .they trimmed Jamar down a bit as well
-
No he'd played the week before as well, he just had a very poor game, got towelled, won't be the first and not the last, that being said he did get a couple of suicidal handball receives that left him with nowhere to go and he coughed the ball up for goals
-
This bit, surely he is being paid by GWS at the moment and should perform to the highest standard no matter what, or because it's him we are going to cut him some slack.......Col Sylvia is listening for the response
-
I know players play sore, but if he is such a valuable commodity, why are they risking him, he looked totally disinterested last weekend, then suddenly contract talks on hold, there is something not quite right there, maybe he does want out, I personally just don't think he is worth the trades/money being offered up here, Fyfe - I would crawl over broken glass and hot coals to help him pack his bags for the move....but he won't be going anywhere
-
Exactly what I have been saying as well, not up to us, if he gets the elbow any time soon then obviously the Club is not happy, if he stays they are cool with it, I personally don't have a problem with it
-
No chap not joking, true I bait the less accommodating now and again, it is not trolling, I never have to resort to personal insults I have no problem with Welsh's actions I watched the game at Coburg, live, I listened to the 1/4 and 3/4 time, I have talked to the players previously, I was disgusted by the 'performance' in the second half Don't read the training reports if they impact you, it is never about me, just can't help myself sometimes I am Liverpudlian, in my 60's and have led a varied, exciting and interesting life, I don't need people to like me old chap,
-
Yes I watched him 'play' for GWS against Richmond last week, hence my suggestion that there is something amiss at the moment, supporters go in droves to games when teams are winning or have a good chance of winning, not because of a single player, the highlighted comment is McAvenyesque
-
Oh good the comedy has started, Fyfe is from the West, he will re sign
-
Why?.....you expect that if we signed him, the team will immediately start winning every game and the crowds would come flooding back, simplistic
-
Actually you are quite wrong there old chap, one of the very few on here that didn't hail Watts as the messiah, coz I realised that he was just a schoolboy at the time (if you must put words in my mouth like some others do, make sure they are the right words) Agree Cameron may become a fine player with a long career, but there is some other issue in play at GWS at the moment, is he playing injured, if so why? Also I would prefer we recruit goal kicking mids, it's the midfield where games are won and lost, I prefer where we are going at the moment with the goalkicking spread amongst the 18
-
I have been to quite a few games and talked to the players and watched Casey train, Welsh's frustration comes from players telling him they fully understand the message he is sending out and then completely ignoring it, as I said in another post, I think this came from the week previous when the whole team played really well in atrocious conditions at Visy, then the following week against a 'lesser' team blew a 30 point lead and didn't bother playing in the second half
-
I'm glad you think we are rolling in cash, I'll get Peter Jackson to have a word
-
So just as he is about to start producing you want to bulk him up, after we have spent the last pre season getting him right, those weights are old as well, Hogan weights in at 102k, I asked him
-
Then why is he being played, what are they trying to do break him?, there is more to this story than meets the eye
-
The problem seems to be that some posters are the same as some of our players seem to be, they need to grow a pair, as for senior coaches not saying such things, Hardwick more or less said he had given Riewoldt a serious arse kicking, the good thing is Riewoldt responded in the right way, what we need for the next Casey game is our listed players to do the same, and shove it up Welsh.....I will wait and see
-
Why haven't you answered my question, bit too irrational for you, I unlike some on here, don't have personal issues, I know I am posting on a footy forum where posters, hiding behind the anonymity of a keyboard, have their opinions or views, some are willing to back up their views or opinions with sound argument or debate, others just snipe, which camp are you in, by not answering the question I posed above I would say the latter
-
is that hopefully or will be, my point exactly, everything looks good on paper, I don't like the way he is performing this season
-
Exactly why you have empathy with the players, I am being made redundant yet I achieved the best results for 2 years last month, it is not a mindset it is a generational thing. They are not going to war, they are playing footy, and being paid bloody well to do it, they deserve every bake they get if they don't perform
-
My point is it isn't happening this year for whatever reasons, it helps when some of the other key forwards were missing last year so he got the votes, yes he had a good year, but triple teamed?......and my point what has changed this year, apart from his move to the backline, if he is such a gun, he should be able to lift the boys around him...ain't happening especially with some of his efforts
