  1. Why? It's November, he looks fit and healthy, couple of sessions to get the foot used to the load again, I am sure he will be on a program to get him up for first game of NAB cup On VDB another month so after Xmas for him for main group
  2. Garlett was a no show also and Melksham joined in main group so must be ahead of Hibberd with fitness. Couldn't stay long today - work called. Oliver was crook last week so probably rehab for the week, Trengove will be eased back in. Stretch just managing his body.
  3. The difference these days, if you want to be better, we have coaches and programs that will help you Forgot this bit from training Me "Macca what do you think of Jack's hair" Macca "I don't care what colour they have their hair, as long as the head it's on is over the ball"
  4. I understand why some people find the clash jumper repulsive, it is all about the past and the heritage of the MFC I'm just not one of them, it's a jumper, the whole thing is a business now so somebody at the Club has decided that this jumper will sell, only time will tell if they are correct If the on field success comes the membership and identity will come with it, we may wear this jumper 5 or 6 times, that means we will wear the red and blue, which everybody knows is MFC colours, the rest of the time I support Everton in the EPL and they have had some appalling away strips over time, but I still buy those I like, why I buy the white jumper, coz I have enough red and blue, same as I have enough blue and white of Everton
  5. It's a joke understand the angst from supporters who long for the old days and the heritage, but I have bought the white jumpet for last three years can't see the issue, as I said they could wear green and pink stripes for all I care, as long as they play well
  6. Believe in 2018 they are going to be remodelling the G, so we will be playing all games at Etihad in the white jumper.............I don't care if we play buck naked as long as we have a crack and win a few games
  7. We always talk about homesickness, Hogan anyone, for every Irish succes there are 3 or 4 who go home
  8. Just put the pics on Instagram with link on Twitter, Demonpk if any one feels any warrant being on here feel free I keep making a [censored] of it
  9. Well, Corey didn't think so, he picked them not me haha.......forgot about him myself
  10. No it's not just show them the photo of Jack Watts, although personally I liked the look, but that says more about me More topic, been first two weeks, standouts have been Hogan and Brayshaw, although everybody seems to have returned in top shape, Watts being a prime example, turned up today looking sharp, can see why McKenna was grabbed, Smith looks to have listened and even being a B class rookie doesn't stop you playing in the AFL team, the competition for places is going to be fierce. Spoke to Dom Tyson, he is looking forward to the challenge of earning your place and keeping it, so are others I have spoken to They had Max Rooke supervising the tackling drill
  11. Just remembered on a note about Mitch King, knee recovery progressing well, had him doing half a dozen set shots from 40 out on 45 degree angle, all through the goal post high
  12. Will be there Monday, think only Garlett, Garland, Lumumba, Pedersen, Lewis and Trengove have not shown up to now, and Bugg made a couple of guest appearances, asked Macca about this today, whether players had to stay away, said return date was 'official' but they didn't have to stick to it
  13. He went and played basketball Ted, hasn't played footy since junior days, I was talking to him about how we could field quite a good hoops team if they could persuade Max or Pencil to play centre, and Goodwin would allow it, not a bad starting five Gawn, Maynard, Petracca, Watts and Frost
  14. That's not nice, already reported the poor bugger was crook, can't take a trick, spoke to him, didn't look or sound well, believe there has been a bit of a bug floating around the club
  15. Unfortunately have to work today so my pics will appear tomorrow on Instagram, got some of the tackling drill, Harmes put Jones on the deck, not a good career move
  16. They are building a block on the corner DS, still means a run there and back though, Jesse used this as a warm up this morning
  17. Maynard doesn't look too bad for a B class rookie, if that makes sense, I expected his kicking to be all over the place but it's quite good, and he is like a sponge asking questions all the time, when he is not in the drill, he watches intently
  18. No Misso's program of building players is in full swing, players who need bulk get it, players such as Petracca are being leaned down
  19. Goodwin was talking about playing him as a forward, even though he was playing as a defender at GWS, junior was forward
  20. Had a chat to Jack Viney, already had the reins pulled a couple of times (surprise), wants to be back with main group, was given a firm no, looks in top condition anyway, said the hip has 'settled' really well, wants to join in Monday, told to wait and see Hibberd and Melksham looking better each session as well, both feeling really good after each session, looking forward to joining main group Vince is the old man now, starting his 12th pre season, looks in great shape as well Apart from the hair, message has sunk in with Watts as well, looks in elite condition, straight into whole session
  21. Good size, speed, neat and tidy kicking action, knows where to run, know it is early days but was receiving lots of praise from coaches and other players during drills
  22. On the music, it was the video guys idea, asked permission and it was granted, players all for it Can begin to see why we grabbed McKenna, Joel Smith looking even better than last season, think we have found a smoky When session finished, fitness guys were having a go at Maynard for walking back without a shirt, "3 sessions and already the rig is out" The morale amongst the whole group seems very high Standouts for me in the drills Hogan, Brayshaw, McKenna
  23. They just stuff around, or forgot their own, or they are being remade, McKenna was in 44 for a couple of days, now in 40 Oliver was feeling crook, spoke to him, didn't sound the best, there have been a couple of them with a bug Will put a bit more later today or tomorrow Watts is determined to keep the hair
  24. I try standing up, but at my age, it is an effort
  25. It's not the time but the crime with the inconsistency, if they agreed to a six month ban, why, when it is 4 years
