I think a lot of the surprise on here is from what we have experienced in the past, we are now building the players properly, the guys that need muscle get it, the guys who need to be leaner are trimmed down, and Roos message at the B&F actually sank in so everybody has worked their backsides off over the pre season if they could I am on evening shift at work for my trouble, so will be there Friday, anybody want a particular player pictured, will try if you put it here -

I had a chat to Misso this morning just before training started, to say he is 'happy' with the shape the players have come back in is an understatement, and yes what I put the other day Frost and Kent are on their 'own' running progam, so run together, got a straight bat as to why (expected) -

I put a pic up on Instagram, haven't got the tech ability to put here - if anyone can please do - I was quite surprised he looked really fit, instead of running laps, went off to run around the tan with Nev Jetta, so assume he wasn't meant to be there 'officially'. In the kicking drills was immaculate (as per usual) -
Tackle = vernacular for your man bits We are again looking over the shoulder at the past, new season has started

Agree on BenKen, seems to build into running over pre season, was same last year, think through circumstances at Pies, has never had the fitness base so they are building one slowly -

I asked him, hasn't been doing anything special, eating more and the functional weights, not my word, Mitch White's ,they don't want them throwing big weight around unsupervised -

Excellent report from DeeSpencer covered all the drills King is recovering from ACL so his kicking is all over the place watched him do a couple of perfect hard low flat passes then horrible floater, lot of rust to knock off Answers to a couple of questions For those admiring Billy Stetch's physique, has put on 4kg of muscle, in one drill he knocked Trac off the ball much to delight of Macca They wear watches not fitbits And the weights in offseason, just functional weights to keep muscles ticking over, no throwing big weights around Hogan was standout today bouncing around, one little incident down freeway end, they were doing bring ball out from 50 and back in, usually the 'defenders' stopping the ball coming out just man the mark so to speak, Hogan caught Oscar Mc unawares stripped him of the ball and slammed through a goal, followed by a ridiculous chest bumping celebration with Dean Kent Goody joined in the laughter telling Hogan and Kent they weren't playing something league footy now, assume some junior league in WA Then took.Oscar aside and spoke to him and showed him why Hogan had got him and reinforced 100% concentration even at training, great bit of on the spot coaching On that, Maynard is a sponge, which is great to see, constantly asking questions of coaches other players -

That's a bit harsh, I unfortunately discovered both the variety of brioche at Aldi and the relaunch of McCrackens Pale ale at the same time Back to the gizmos, I'll either ask or watch where and when they wear them, I agree would hate to see a finger attached to one during a training session -

Was told at the start by one of the staff it was going to be players from 1st year to going into 5th year, minus those guys in that group who played most of the finals for Casey, plus Hibberd and Melksham, plus "one or two others", Nev Jetta was there because he wanted to be and same with Tommy Mc (disguised as Dante Exum) I think I counted 22, plus ANB, White, Smith, Weideman, Hulett, Oliver, Salem, Trengove? which makes 30 (not sure when they will return), then Jones, Watts, Vince, Garland, Lumumba, Tyson, Garlett, Spencer, Pedersen, Gawn, Lewis who I assume will start on 21st -
2016 Player Review - # 8 Heritier Lumumba

True, but I thought early in pre season Dawes was on the way back, then it fell to bits in the New Year, will be interesting to watch HL till say February, that will be a better indicator -

Although gentlemen of our vintage are pleased if we go off at all OD, think you are going off early on HL, to make a call on any player in November is what Sir Humphrey would call "courageous" -

Now you have figured out the answer for Kent's poor form yesterday, he had forgotten to take it out and it came to a head halfway through the session Think those watches are fitbits or whatever they were called, understand about the shady characters, my scooter actually didn't go walkabout yesterday, could be the fact that Max Gawn was not in attendance though -

No he's my bodyguard, he has a gun in his pocket......(which makes a change) Anyone would be happy to meet Goody, just checking with us that the game plan he is going to implement is ok for 2017, we gave it a tick of approval -

You will notice Hogan giving the cameraman the death stare when he was getting the massage, not a fan of having his pic taken whilst this is happening, I learnt the hard way and got the death stare once -

Melksham did what was required of him, he probably shares Buggs body type in my opinion, lean but defined, and not his style, agree Hibberd does though Thought my ageing Fitzroy Hipster look today left him for dead Bugg is still the aerobic running monstet hardly raised a sweat yet was leading his group As for Hoges, got as far as getting the ball in hand facing the goal about 30 out and 45 deg then changed his mind There wasn't even any goalkicking at the end perhaps again they were instructed not to -

Just watched 7 news Stevo is a gem had Trac looking about to collapse and Hoges clutching his hamstring. Hoges did have bit of tightness during the session, as he does now he immediately spoke to medical staff, had it massaged, like he does every session, had no issue completing the session -

With Trac running with Kent, Frost and BenKen none of them seemed to be pushing really hard, they completed all the runs but could be under instruction not to push really hard
