For me the worst part is listening to the screeching of the "Grand Old Flag" at the end of the game. Gives me tinnitus. The fumbling drives me crazy also, but they are Dees, just like the blokes, and they certainly seem happy about it. I'm sure many of the girls would know about the supporter websites, and venture on for a look to see what the fans think. Good win girls. Gutsy. Proud of you.

Had to happen as soon as I bagged her. She was garbage in the first half, but talk about turning a game around. Fantastic in the second half. I enjoyed the game. It was light years ahead of the Colonwood/Carlton game.

With Daisy, was the match winner for us. They had a real physical crack in the last too. I enjoyed that. Stuff the lower quality skills, the Dees had a WIN!

We are the better side, and our midfielders are miles better than theirs, but you wont win by kicking soccer scores. Simply must find a way to the goals. The overhead marking has been impressive, but a negative is Cranston. A wasted spot in the team. Just does not provide a contest for a girl of her size. Daisy has been poor also.

Thats the main issue with the womens game. Terribly low scoring. Can see the AFL changing every rule to allow more goals.

Must admit, I absolutely hated the first game I watched. The skill level reminded me of primary school football. I was embarrassed to watch it. But as more games were played, I could see not just the rapidly improving skills, but the physicality and commitment of the players. In fact, the Women were playing the type of physical football that I wished our men had played during the 40+ years I have been watching. If you can see past the gender thing with its obvious differences, and view it through the Red & Blue of the Guernsey, you might just get some enjoyment out of it. Ask the players how they feel about it. I'm confident they would say they are not simply Women Footballers, but they play for the Melbourne Demons. Pride in the jumper, total effort, and respect for the clubs history is all I ask from them. The fact we have a side that is fun to watch is a nice bonus. I'm a fan.

Interesting that new girl Tegan Cunningham is named, straight out of basketball, as the tall forward at a similar height as Mifsud (185 / 184cm) We appeared shorter than our opposition last season. I hope that Edin Zanker can play at some stage, as she is a giraffe who looks great in her highlights, and appears to have some nice physicality about her. Daisy at F.F? Nah. Looking forward to this game.

Wow. I think some of this might have a heavy weight on unrealised potential if Petracca is "elite" On output thus far, Oliver is light years head. And Hunt before Hibberd? Bloody hell. I know absolutely bugger-all about footy.

Thought so. I'm happy for your feelings to be put to one side so the club can make a profit, and thrive. That should be the major goal of the club.
