  1. So true. I never understood why my parents had me.
  2. I never understand why people post stuff like that.
  3. If he can hit the ground running, I suspect he will be a fantastic pickup. High average possies, and has a massive, and accurate left boot. Takes minimal siht also.
  4. Don't be smart or I will block you......
  5. Ah ok. You said " God there are some moronic f!ogs in these here parts", so I assumed you were talking about more than one, and I only see Stuies comments when they are quoted. Same as Saty.
  6. This is why I shake my head every time someone suggests trading a player/picks, to upgrade our second round pick, and give it to essedon. Mind boggling, and totally pointless from our perspective.
  7. The comments I saw were quite clearly taking the pizz. Not sure what you are on about J.C
  8. Another piece of the puzzle filled, and an important one at that. More toughness, and foot skills off half back. If true, welcome to the Dees Michael.
  9. Please everyone, stop quoting Saty. It circumvents the ignore feature that many of us enjoy. Saty is in his natural state of "full defence", because we are talking about a M.F.C player. Defend defend defend, beyond all rational thought. Please don't assist him to ruin yet another thread.
  10. Agree. Look at the way Norf is still looking to top up. Older players with only a few years left, while trading away their future youth, leaving no room for a rebuild. We have the quality youth already. Actually, we are over flowing compared to many other teams. To echo another poster, I have put the Melksham suspension behind me now. Melksham and Hibberd are just what we need.
  11. Ban on being at the club is over as of today. Welcome back Jake. Hope you can make most of your talent with us.
  12. Equally sickening. No, doubly sickening. Stupid stupid stupid Lions! I really hope most of these preening young fools demanding to be traded to premiership fancies come a gutser. Take a lesser pay packet looking for an easy ride, then get stuck at a basket case for 6 to 8.
  13. That would be far more palatable than seeing O'Meara in a hawforn jumper.
  14. I wasn't being too serious Sailing Dee. Please don't take offence.
  15. I don't even think his essedon career was impressive. A classic case of a soft outside player being made to look better than he really is, by talented teammates. That essedon chose to clear out the likes of Heffernan/Blumfield/Caracella around the same time as they started to feel the salary cap squeeze, says enough for me. Clever trading by the dons.
  16. That's the obvious issue, but I'm still confident he will be a better player than the others mentioned in that post.
  17. Hibberd is a much more talented player than any of those guys. He will slot in nicely, into an area of the ground where we could certainly use an injection of the type of skills he will bring.
  18. Heffernan was bog average when he played for us. Get your memory serviced......
  19. Use Google Chrome. Highlight the topic, right click, and select "search google for..."blah blah blah" topic"
  20. I agree Wayne, but we need to keep our heads in the real world. We will pay for Hibberd, as the AFL overlords will not allow this to go to grievance. If it's our second round, lets just welcome him, and wish him the best. He will be a very good player for us.
  21. I see it differently D11. Just because Clark was a bust also, doesn't mean we got value for Lumumba. He has been a failure any way you look at it, especially considering Jason Taylors record since landing with us. I would love to see who he would have chosen at that pick.
  22. I thought we overpaid for him personally, although I suspect you are correct, in that our 3rd rd pick was never going to be enough. I always factored in the VERY high likelihood that he would serve a suspension for drugs. I was always confident that the good guys would win, once it was out of the afl's slimy hands. Oops, we also overpaid for Lamumba, and most definitely Dawes.
  23. And that's the way it should be, but recent experience, and essedon's dodo, caution me otherwise. I hope Redleg is correct.
  24. We wont. We never do. I can see it being next years first pick. I think he will let his strong personal relationship with Hibberd cloud his judgement. Hope I'm wrong, but I don't expect to be. This years second rounder should be more than enough.
