Casey Demons v North Melbourne VFL - Round 14
Footy, Seaworld style. Looking forward to the runners coming out on Jetskis

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
I have no idea about football. I thought Lewis did some great things against Port. Treacle slow, yes, but well worth his place in the team.

Interesting theory Saty. All Australians are also a good indicator of the quality of a player.....

Petracca in a rut?
On form so far, I tend to agree. Your boy Hyphen was exposed as having zero situational awareness today. Needs to take the blinkers off.

Petracca in a rut?
Petracca for Wines. Fair swap.

Gerard Whately is a Moron
Really enjoy watching Daisy. Would be interested to see how she would go as the special comments person during play. Intelligent, informative, and has a delivery far removed from the embarrassing Kellie Underwood.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - AUSTIN BRADTKE
I find it interesting that people still defer to the "big" clubs when looking at things like this. No disrespect intended, but why would it be a big deal if Collingwood and Geelong were also into Bradtke? With the way our recruiters have gone recently, it should be the other way around now. We are as good or better than anyone at spotting talent. His dad was a big big man, so I can see the young version filling out quite nicely, although Max has shown that if you have the height and talent, a beanpole ruckman can dominate at the highest level. Shows that developing a list is a 365 day a year job. It just never stops. Well done Dees, and welcome Austin. Hope you make the grade.

Andrew Gaff
Just a reminder that we are playing for our 4th win in a row this week. Chin up old mate.

Andrew Gaff
The final line is my concern. We have been mauling garbage sides, and its great to finally see us putting it together against sides that we should. But, I think our true improvement can only be measured against the best teams. While I can see that we are playing with a different setup to the first few rounds, I wont be in any way convinced that a player like Gaff will be "cherry on top" material, until we start rolling top 4 sides consistently. We didn't just lose to them, we got blown away. Here's hoping.....

Andrew Gaff
So Gaff would be the one thing we need to go from losing to the Hawks by 67, to being "unstoppable"? Reckon you might be overestimating his impact Pet.
- Oscar McDonald signs on until 2020

Is Brayshaw more rounded than the Trac?
Gus will finish his career as a much better than "solid" mid. He will be one of our best 5, given an injury free run. We needed pure footballers, and Gus is certainly one of those.

Gaming - we are out!
Fair call. Will be very interesting to see what we make of the cash injection.
-
Gaming - we are out!
Staggering decision. We turn ourselves from a profit maker, to a loss maker BY CHOICE? For nothing other than Social Justice Warriors and their "feelings"? If I see a hat being passed at any time in the future, I will tell them to f*&k right off. Epically stupid virtue signalling by our leaders. Disgraceful decision.

Petracca wants to start in the guts.
Petracca Oliver Brayshaw Viney Imagine these 4 in full flight, being fed by Gawn. The next few years are our best chance in my lifetime to be feared again. Beasts.

Mitch Hannan Signs on until 2020
From the first game I watched him play, he had one elite skill, and that is ball to foot speed. Consistently faster than anyone else I have ever seen. Also like his work in the air. Hits a pack like a much taller player. Very very happy with this news.

Cale Morton as the body model?

I'm starting to think Cassie has a problem with soccer.

Ollie Wines
Great post. Agree with every word. We have our star in Oliver. He is going to be one of the best in the competition in the next few years, and will be offered Federal Reserve money from other clubs. Would love to see Wines in the Red & Blue, and my god our midfield would be intimidating, but just cant see where the funds would come from. Watch for Norf to offer 1.5m p.a over 7 years, fail to get a bite, and for Wines to re-sign with Port. @ding What are your connections saying?

Are we ready? Rory Sloane
They would know already. List management is prepared years ahead now. If they are still chasing him, they either have enough "cap" in hand, or they think they can get away with a brown paper Visy bag. Sloane would be very nice, although I think we might target Gaff if players such as Billy Stretch dont come on this year. We still need outside running power, who can get plenty of touches.

No White for MFC Clash Jumpers for Season 2018

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Yeah, that was my first thought also. Big difference to the weedy pack skirters we loaded up on in years gone by. That post from @dazzledavey36 is a cracker. Spargos family would be printing it on their Christmas cards.
