The "crazy sheila" comment was a reference to the way she comes across. And yes, it was sloonie i was thinking of. Cant remember too many of the people from ology that i met to be honest, but tilly certainly left an impression. One bloke who used to clash with other posters on both here and 'ology, was RobbieF. My brother and i have spoken with him a couple of times at games now, with one of his sons (Adrian from memory, but could be wrong), and he is a lovely bloke, and very easy to get along with. The stuff you read online, is often very different in person. Not sure if his online persona is any different to the real life one, but would you like to hazard a guess as to how stuie would be to sit next to at the footy My head spins thinking about it.

Actually met several posters from Demonology at a pre season game against the Bulldogs, at Casey several years back. A couple of them had confident smirks on their faces the whole time, but by and large, it was a lot of fun, and they were good blokes. No girls though, which was probably a good thing, because of the language Sat next to a poster called Tilly, who was an absolute cracker of a bloke, but one of those types that takes no backward steps, and constantly fed it to the bullies supporters. I could easily imagine him getting us in a blue at the G' against the filth or scum. Great day. I would like to see a game, and hit the turps, with Jaded, and whatshername, the other crazy sheila on here. She hasnt posted for a while..........I reckon they would rustle up a fight or too also. I think many people forget that this is an internet forum. Easy to be act like someone else, when there is 1000km of fibre optic between you and the person you are talking to.

ohhhhhh, poor thing. Its normal here. There really are a few groups on here who follow each other., but dont let it get to you. They obviously know each other. Consider your post replied to. Regards, faulty

Confirms my view that this site is full of nerds and drunks. Im not a nerd........, but i might be too drunk to know for sure.

Can one of you giffers please pm me instructions on how to post them please. oh, probably should add something to the thread. bananas...............

But this is the Darcy Parish thread Red. I think its probably considered appropriate to discuss Parish here.

As above. Re read, and get back to me. Whats wrong with you people?

Tim, can you kindly point out where exactly in my post, that I state that I dont want us to draft the kid? I've looked a few times now, but i cant seem to find it. Someone posted about his looks, so i added a light hearted comment about it. Maybe you need to not take things so seriously.
-
ok ok, i know I will cop flak from the PCers, but omg, he is the epitome of how we have been viewed by the rest of the teams in the comp for 50 years. I hope the kid can seriously play, or fight like a thrashing machine, because he is going to be targeted every game he plays, just for the way he looks. Looks like a character straight out of a 70's Medieval movie. Can someone photoshop a shield and sword on him?

Lol, guilty conscience BBO? I actually get what Middy is trying to say. But he does bring the heat on himself at times.

But posts like yours only serve to put more people offside, and more likely to continue their attitude towards you. I would agree with you that there are a few cliques on this site, and some can be bloody annoying, but try not to rant and rave, and you might find them a little more bearable. edit: I mean this in a constructive way. Not trying to be a smartarz.

Im hoping that the CAS will see the "provisional suspension" for what it was. A total farce, chosen by the club/players, to suit themselves. "Hey boys, why dont we just tell them we will suspend ourselves, so we can wipe some time off our sentences? Its only ore season anyway, and we can still train, like nothing has changed. See, that will show em!" Makes me sick that the propaganda continues. Hope like hell no dispensation is given, as they deserve no reduced time at all. Not 1 day. Can someone clarify the rules around training? I thought you were banned from training with your club while suspended.

Christ this site is full of nerds.

Good idea. A loss against a WADA depleted essedun, with VFL top ups, would be great for membership. Would like Carlton, as a 10 goal win would be a nice way to kick the season off.

Try not to point and laugh at "David's" doodle. And lay off the wine until the game starts.......

I know that DD My point still stands. He came from nowhere, much like a new draftee, to be an A grader. Thats the point I was trying to make. Sorry if it was poorly worded.
-
Of course it will. But that has nothing to do with our trading this year, and thats what this thread is about rjay. Im hopeful, same as you are mate.
-
Yeah, but...... 3 x first year players, even if A graders, are not going to drag us into finals, unless they are like Cripps from Carlton
-
Not sure if our 3 pick ups, plus upcoming draftees will see us playing finals SWYL. No stars in that lot, but obviously we are hoping for 3 x solid role players, who give a physical contest. On that score, we are miles ahead of what we have lost. Im sure that the full realisation will hit us next year, in the supposedly strong draft, when we get to trade time, and our first tradeable pick is maybe pick 28 to 30. Yuck. Lets hope our blokes are on the money, and we score 2 A grade players with 3/7 this year. Otherwise our schit eating grins might not be so big in 12 months time. Personally, I would love to see the miracle completed tomorrow, with Watts and/or Grimes traded for 2nd round pick for next year, that we can convert into a first round pick, via academy trading. Did I mention that I am a huge fan of the new Academy points system? edit for too many commas. Apologies to my old English teachers, for wagging too many classes.

Slow backline, and the bench is very uninspiring. Would like to see Milkshake on HBF, as earmarked by our footy dept, but expect he will be on WADA vacation all season. If Harmes continues in the form he showed in the last game, I would expect to see him replace softy Watts, in the starting team, but in the Forward Pocket, with Kent on a Forward Flank, and a newbie taking the bench seat.I also expect to see Buggy Bear Rd1, as we are definitely trying to put a harder edge team on the paddock. To me, the team never looks as good on paper, as it does in your head (or dreams) Good effort, apart from Vanders at HBF. Out of place there.

Absolutely LOVE this new points system for Academy kids. Years gone by, so many people were (rightly) torn a new one, for suggesting *crap player + *crap player, + *crap draft pick, for a great pick, or player. It was true then, but not true now. Many crap picks, mean decent points, tradeable for great pick, or potentially player. I think the AFL have accidentally stumbled on a real winner here, and for once, maybe the first time in my life, the Dees seem to be ahead of the game. Wow, this feels good, and somewhat strange.

Think yourself lucky that you haven't met him. Absolute nutcase, especially after 3/4 of a bottle of Whisky. Gets all ranty over the smallest things. As we are twins, I've, been mistaken for him all of my life, and for someone with a horrible memory for people, its a nightmare. I never know if I have forgotten the face, or have never met them before. faulty

Mate, I've been thinking since this news came to light, about how to express my frustration at this decision by Howe, and you have read my mind perfectly. Thank you. I second this. The power clubs think like essedun. We appear to cower, and take it up the ass. Please M.F.C, change the way we do business, for god sake.

In before the "grammar Nazis", to say, once again Chook, the mere sight of C.I.P on the board, has me clicking as fast as I can, for some news carrying weight. faulty. Got the better of me. My inner Nazi wins. "likely" Sorry
