  1. Not convinced he could be any hungrier than is he already. Equally unconvinced that he will turn out to be a good player.
  2. Its an award based on Pass the Parcel at a kids birthday party. Even the ugly, dorky kid with no friends gets a turn.
  3. I'm easy to confuse when people don't punctuate their sentences. I thought he was saying he drinks something called Me Arbelour. I thought I had stolen a bottle of every drop ever made, but in all my juvenile break and enters, I have never encountered something with that name. (just joking about the break and enters)
  4. Sorry T, but I haven't had any alcohol for 6 days now, and try as I might, reading from right to left, turning my screen upside down, and putting my laptop in front of a mirror to read the reflection, I still cant figure out what you are trying to say.
  5. I was beginning to think that every alco on 'Land was an Oban drinker. Maybe my old man was right all these years, and I don't actually know anything after all.
  6. I could understand why, but again, accepting $700k less, to avoid traffic? You see where im coming from right? Something doesn't sit right here. I cant see how a 3rd party deal is not involved.
  7. Yes, but he is not limited to living in mummies pocket, and travelling an extra hour to get to Dees training. He has the choice to live close to the MCG, and simply travel an extra or or so when he needs a hug from his parents. Moot point anyway. It just gets up my snout.
  8. Are you suggesting he is yet another of our so called development problems? He displayed these traits in his first ever game, and hasn't changed. Again, I hope it can be fixed, as I'm certain that he is giving everything that he has.
  9. Anyway, how about that Redden fellow?
  10. I think I understand your point, just not sure I agree with it. Surely, in the age of fully professional Aussie Rules, if he has head problems of whatever flavour, the MFC have provided plenty of "psychology" from suitably qualified people? He is having no meaningful impact on games, even at the lower level. Can it be fixed? I would have expected to see something by now.
  11. So he should care less about his football? We already have a bloke who has already confessed to not beating himself up when he makes an error, or plays in a losing team. Doesn't seem to have made him a great footballer. My worry with Jimmy, is that come game time, his head just doesn't operate at the required speed for AFL level aussie rules. I hope he can get it right, and become a reasonable player for us. Does anyone have a decent insight into the game brain of Redden? He looks a good size, but I really don't know much about his skill set, and strengths/weaknesses
  12. I've heard a number of quite wealthy people say the same thing.Impossible to put the extra 40 grand into context, unless you have a starting point. Knocking back 40 is easy if you already earn 200. I would bet my left nut that if the reported figures are correct, then there simply must be some outside deals involved. No westerner in his right mind knocks back $700k, just to be 1hr closer to his parents. (and if he did, what a whimpy little mummies boy he must be). He could buy his own helicopter with the difference, and be at mums house for din dins every night.
  13. Please stop quoting the idiot, as its circumventing my ignore preferences. Thanks, faulty
  14. Even as a wind up, that is comical. Terrible effort at becoming the new Nudge.
  15. You are sounding hysterical DF.We all want Jack to succeed. Some of us dont think that will ever be with the Dees.
  16. Read it again Jumbo. "Likely" agree?? People keep getting emotional over this bloke, when its really a waste of time. He has all the skills in the world, without the necessary level of application. The coaches can see it, but the delusional few on here cant, and if I want to call him out for it, I wont be asking anyones permission.
  17. Jack Watts will continue to be a disappointment, until he is traded, or delisted. Most of us can already see that Jack does not have the necessary desire to put his body on the line in order to win the ball. That is a trait that is unacceptable if you want to play in the heat of finals football. If we had a midfield full of Dangerfields/Kennedys/Hodges/*Cripps', then we could carry a bloke like Jack for most of the season, for his undoubted skills. But we don't have anything close to that, and don't look like having that type of midfield in the foreseeable future. Therefore, we must have players all over the ground, who can get their own ball. Jack doesn't, or wont, because he cannot bring himself to maintain composure while under physical pressure. I don't need to compare him to any other player, for most others to understand, and likely agree with that opinion.
  18. ohhhhhhhhh no he's not. That's his problem. He is not up for the physical side of AFL. If he had mongrel, to go with his undoubted talent, he would be , hmmmm, let me see. Jesse Hogan?
  19. We will probably continue to see a key forward size player who still cant take a contested mark, and skirt the outside of packs waiting for someone else to get him the ball, but he will be a year older, and less valuable as a trade option. So yeah, you shouldn't be such a doubter. Of course some things will change.
  20. If true, damn.I was really hoping he would get us some value from somewhere.
  21. Here, have these, and sprinkle them through that post ,, ..,. Then run a spellcheck.
  22. Watts, Howe & 6 for Hartlett, Prestia and 19? If it sounds like a good deal for us, then we haven't given enough away. Dream outcome. Then essedun would demand 19 for Melksham.
  23. Wada, just, WADA I hate to see the bummers get any value from players who are about to be banned. They will be laughing their heads off with this trade. The delaying tactics, and stupidity from opposition recruiters, has really worked well for the cheating filth. *If by some chance they are found not guilty, I think he will be a handy player for us. Looks like we really are trying to rid ourselves of a soft underbelly, by bringing in competitors. Hope it works better for us, than it does for essedun.
  24. Not a shot at you personally, but how could anyone trust the clubs judgement, with regards to a specific WADA outcome? WADA are not appealing for fun, or to fight a losing cause just to show the world that they will chase the accused all the way. They are appealing, bacause they feel that the essedun players are GUILTY of using illegal, performance enhancing drugs, which may end in a 2 year ban for all players involved. Melbournes heirachy cannot have any inside info, as this is not an episode orchestrated by the AFL, or its lackeys. If they are found not guilty, and we trade our third round pick for Milkman, then all is good, and I would be reasonably happy with that. BUT Trade anything higher, and have Melksham put out of the game for ANY length of time due to a guilty finding, and I would be up the front, leading the chorus of voices demanding that whoever orchestrated the trade, be run out of our club forever, and that includes the coach in waiting. Simply cannot believe that we are looking at anyone from essedun. And if the scummers actually did ask for first round pick and Howe, then I would settle for nothing less than pushing him through to the PSD, and giving a nice, oversized, lengthy middle finger to the filthy scum.
