I like his intensity when shifted into the midfield, it provides us with something different and gives us a bit of explosion in there. Could replace Jones as a mid.

Honesty can only help so much but it cant buy speed.

We could have got pick 5 for Hogan and take Rozzee. Looks a player. May was a silly trade. Paid overs for someone not very good. Baffling. Overs for Lever who had already had an ACL history, baffling. We were in a great position to continue drafting quality kids whilst restocking our KP back roles through free agency and mature recruits. We couldve and shouldve had a dynasty. Roos must be kicking himself.

Posters bagged Petracca all pre-season saying he looked heavy. To all those posters you were 110% spot on. He looked to be moving like the OX post ACL. It is obvious Petracca needs to slim down and regain some explosiveness, otherwise he is only just a VFL player.

Harmes was excellent today. I dont care what he says post match. When it counted on the field James harmes stepped up. Shame not many joined him.

Spargo has cost us this game.

Drop jones.

[censored] decision but life goes on. We aren't the first football club to mishandle a trade period, and we won't be the last. Best we can do is learn and hope its a once off. Good luck to Watts aswell, Port should be up there next year.

2017 Player Reviews: # 24 Jay Kennedy-Harris
ThreeOneSix replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
JKH is a player of reasonable potential. I have no doubt he can make the grade, in fact, I expect him to make the grade in 2018. He is smart on the inside, and creates opportunities. I would be surprised if he didn't make it. -
"We're a troubled team at Hawthorn"!!!
ThreeOneSix replied to Jumping Jack Clennett's topic in Melbourne Demons
They had staff turnover last year with Fagan leaving to take the job at Brisbane. Many assistant coaches left Hawthorn before, during and after their most successful period. When Kennett stepped down years ago Hawthorn gotten stronger. So this is nothing new to Hawthorn. They are hardly going to fall off just because a couple of people got the sack. -
I would be disappointed in Watts if he even entertains leaving. He should just ignore the trade speculation and hit the track. He is contracted till the end of 2019 - so if he wants to stay he should. My advice to him would be to get out and hit the track, utilize the strength and conditioning staff available to you, and put in a big 2018 at MFC.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
ThreeOneSix replied to stevethemanjordan's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah he does. But. We should inquire as to the availability of Nick Hayne (GWS). I would rate him as good a prospect as Lever. So we have more than one card to play here. Whether the club play it or not. But I would. As to Lever, he did ok today - below his best (but ok). Rance was important for Richmond, and Lever is miles ahead of Rance at this stage of his career. Lever is quality. The thing is, so is Haynes, and can we find other key position back man of quality - in order to make Adelaide believe we aren't do or die on this deal? We need to drive this price (picks wise) down. -
The Big Dance - Grand Final Day, 2017
ThreeOneSix replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
We weren't even nearly good enough. Richmond have been consistent. We are a bit of a rabble. I could make a reasonable argument that our list is on par - on talent. But we have some ways to go. On the upside, we saw this year how far a side (Richmond) can come in the space of a season. There is no reason we cannot do that in 2018. But, as I said "we have some ways to go". -
Hunt looked good in the heat.

I like it. We get another shot at the draft. Who knows. We may actually pick up a star with Watts pick. We are due.

Good goal Vince

Jordan the liability lewis

Noticed that. All St Kilda goals bar one have been a result of bad umpiring decisions.

Alex Fasolo battling mental demons.

I think he is exactly the type. If there even is a type. I have friends like that. -
We would've needed to add Josh Kelly instead of adding to Lewis retirement fund and extending Melkshams career. Then maybe wed of had a shot.

A lot of these guys arent up to it.

Umpiring has been terrible. Playing WC at home, considering our sloppiness and turnovers we are actually going ok. -

We are going ok. West Coast at home are one of the hardest assignments in the draw.
