They're so worried about what the fans will think. I'd rather know the truth than be held at bay temporarily.

IMO, Terlich was good at this last season. His disposal will never be great, but he was making better decisions and covering it. He's started this year poorly, but unless he's not fit don't drop him yet.

Congratulations to us all lads and ladies, well deserved!

Got to cover work for 2 hours at 3pm . Would go otherwise. Started yesterday well with $5 on Beams first goal at 21-1

Saints Consider Moving Back 'Home', while we just ...
Pirlo replied to iv'a worn smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
What's the point of this? We were a club born out of a stadium, and that's unique. As things stand, the MCG cannot be trained on, nor is there room for a footbal department. That makes it practical to house it across the road, but considering AAMI is square, we train on the ovals next to it. All three places are a short walk from eachother. -
Jesus, may as well drop Jonesy for his final quarter then. Garland has to be an automatic in when you're KPD's are Georgiou and Pedersen.
-
Roosy said that he thinks there'll be a meeting later in the week. One of the most clear pressers you'll ever see http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2014-04-07/roos-on-mitch-clark Mitch is surely gone.
-
We all joke about it, but we've also all feared it from the moment he walked in the door. The more games we lose, the more we wonder why he'd stay.
-
I would like it if Roos implemented this. Jimmy used to sit in the cheer squad. Maybe Glen could join in for a few weeks just to get his face out there. All that's left of our club on an elite scale is the Demon Army. Those guys are commendable.
-
Pretty much this. Mitch's issues are his issues, but now we likely move onto how the club deals with it.
-
If we release him from his contract, I'm sure there will be some clause in there preventing him from playing football until the end of his contract. We have to be understanding and kind, but we also need to ensure that Mitch won't waltz over to one of our rivals when he overcomes his issues.
-
Egan, from a similar injury.
-
I doubt it, I think it means he's liable to stay on the list and earn his keep but would hypothetically take a lump sum of lesser value and free up his list spot.
-
I'm talking about dropping him.
-
Shocking decision.
-
Feel like people want him to fail. Sad.

In: Viney, Kent, Gawn, Garland Out: M Jones, Bail, Fitz, Georgiou

Daniel is actually a new journo at The Age. A top bloke, hard working with a good future. Having said that, I disagree with his article.

'Sorry Clarky, you're not able to play football so you shouldn't focus on your other hobby either'.

Trengove? Generous.

Anybody going to credit Paige Cardona for the information and quotes posted, or do we not do that?

If Mitch is depressed, do you really think $35k a week is making him feel better? Or do you think that the money and expectation is only making it harder for him to recover? I swear some people don't use their brains in situations like this. A man can have all the money in the world and be unhappy.
-
For him or us? Us? We'll lick our wounds, treasure the memories and watch Hogan up forward instead. If it's not Clark, it's a promising kid like Fitzy or Watts who gets a go. For him? It's his life, passion and livelihood. A true predicament.
-
Imagine how hard it would be for Clark, a new beginning under a legend and he doesn't even know if he'll be part of it. Positivity and hope for all but him.
-
Good thing we didn't trade Fitzy. Might be time to give Gawn a go up forward too. This thread is not the place of course.
