    Go Doggies.
  2. Quite specific @Ethan Tremblay
  3. Yes, @Lucifers Hero. Thanks for looking so we don't have to...
  4. I'm okay with them eradicating the sling tackle into the ground, however holding-the-ball should be called if a player is spun 360 degrees whilst upright in a tackle.
  5. Only one though.
  6. Shouldn't this be in the Jack Crisp thread?
  7. Agreed @deelusions from afar and @Tony Tea. I fail to see the logic that supports the journo's assertion.
  8. Thanks @daisycutter. Still not sure if it's actually a word, nevertheless I'll try putting it into to song... "We're a discomgruntulated team at Hawthorn, grammatically a veritable flock of dorks..."
  9. Is that the same as discombobulate? Asking for a friend...

Fair question. Given his size and momentum I'd rate it as medium.

Never had his eyes on the ball. Plenty of time to size up the situation. Chose to hit high with both forearms. 1-week seems more than reasonable.

  13. A light session makes sense, I think they caught 'the red eye' back from WA on Sunday night.
  14. I went along with a St.Kilda supporting mate to watch their game against Essendon at the G. The Saints jumped out to a handy lead and then went defensive, it seemed to embolden the Bombers who closed the gap on them. When the Saints regained their attacking verve the Bombers melted away. My take-out: Essendon have a very weak defence so back yourself in a shoot-out.
  15. It was along time ago @rpfc, no need to lambast yourself.

For the most part I agree with you. My point is that both situations require introspection so that the individuals involved can learn from it and grow as a person. Playing the 'victim-card' doesn't foster introspection.

Reported via news.com.au - don't judge me, it's what came up on Google... Former Collingwood president Eddie McGuire reacted to the video on Footy Classified. β€œThe Collingwood Football Club will do its due diligence with the AFL to see whether it was historical, whether it was private and confidential and whether Jack Crisp is the victim here.” Come in spinner...

@ElDiablo14, many stereotypes abound. They are generally true, of course with exceptions. In general, Melbourne supporters like to live in areas where there are large well established trees - the shade protects our eyes so we tend to look calm and relaxed. Opposition supporters, in general, and for reasons that escape me, seem to gravitate towards areas where there are no trees or trees so small so as to not offer much shade - hence, due to the intense glare, their facial expressions resemble that of a Pekingese dog sucking on a lemon. Google Earth could be a useful resource in your search for a new abode; as close to the G as possible. Good luck!
  22. BT's commentary can summed up by his line during the 2021 GF "and the crowd have gone unbelievably". Yes Brian. I too would be in disbelief if the patrons all left the ground half-way through the 3rd quarter of a Grand Final.
