  1. WA? It's our home way from home!
  2. @Pennant St Dee is normally fairly moderate in his posting so when he starts 'frothing' I start listening. Curtain could be part of our midfield AND part of our spine.
  3. AFL Media says 'Massive Fine", Uncle Rodger says
  4. Having had many dealings with the AFL on this matter, I call BS on that statement.
  5. Future 1st rounder and 2nd and/or 3rd round pick swaps as well? If allowed under the trade/draft rules.
  6. Brody Grundy? (kidding, I think)
  7. And a far more reliable grandmother from all reports.
  8. If it's all getting too much for some: https://dietitiansaustralia.org.au/health-advice/lactose-intolerance
  9. Why is she running away from the men in the accounting department? Oh, just realised my question contained the answer!
  10. Yes, Glass-half because Geelong's chances of making the finals look very shaky: GEE run home: POR (H), COL (A), STK (A), BULL (H) As for the death ride: CGS run home :BRI (H) - this round, ADE (A), SYD (A), CAR (H), NOR (A) FRE run home: BRI (H), WCE (A), POR (H), HAW* (A) * With Fremantle winning today the Hawks have pick 3 locked in so they can afford to play all four quarters.
  11. Thanks @TeamPlayedFine39, I wonder if we're still keen though? Especially now that @Jaded No More has put Butters on the table (sounds a bit controversial when you say it out loud).
  12. If I'm right in thinking that Port only have picks 36, 38, 71, 89 then they've got very little trade currency to offer us.
  13. So many bad experiences, so many. And yet the message hasn't sunk in yet for Meth Coasters. Drugs are bad for you!
  14. @Bitter but optimistic I applaud you for your tuppence and your kindness. I do have a different perspective though. Accuracy in language and writing is very important as even the slightest of errors/omissions/misinterpretations can lead to a profound miscommunication. Take, for example, the Crowded House classic "Weather with you". Is this a misspelling? Has the music publishing house applied an interpretation that misconstrues what these New Zealanders might actually be saying? As Kiwis, it is possible that the song may actually be about the constant companionship between a person and their male castrated sheep..."every where you go you always take the wether with you". Looked upon it from this perspective, there could even be a hint of resentment from the original lyricist towards this sheep; take 'the' wether with you, as opposed to the less hostile 'your' wether with you. Hopefully I have illustrated how a tiny misspelling of one word, an additional 'a' in wether, has the potential to dramatically alter the narrative.
  15. Go easy on @BangBnagBang, it's probably just a ytpo.
  16. Precious little anyway. Daisy Pearce being the exception; a Thursday night specialist.
  17. What can we do? SFA! I try not let it worry me too much. However, it did seem that the commentary box was on the verge of starting up the chant St.Kilda 👏👏👏 St.Kilda 👏👏👏
  18. The word you're looking for is "flair".
  19. EXCELLENT behaviour @WalkingCivilWar, keep up the good work!
  20. Does Johnny Bairstow have short-term memory loss? Day 3, takes the ball when keeping to a quick and takes a shy at the stumps when Marnus Labuschange is batting. Day 5, when the boot is on the other foot, "it's not in the spirit of the game". You reap what you sow.
  21. Fatigue certainly is a factor...I'm tired of watching us kick points.
  22. Sad but true.
  23. I can recall when Formula 1 was going to be 'dead and buried' because tobacco advertising was about to get banned..
