Haha. Yeah he explained it all and how he was surprised at how it went viral. He got home and his daughters showed him all the social media about it.

Got involved with a live chat with Gerard Healy. Comment From deemotivated: ] Melbourne don't have the money or the list for Paul Roos. Who wold you consider a good replacement for Neeld if sacked? Tuesday May 14, 2013 1:48 1:49 I'd put Todd Viney in in the short term. I don't think the father-son issue is even worth considering. Look at how successful Lindsay and Andrew Gaze were. Tuesday May 14, 2013 1:49 1:50 I think Paul Roos is the obvious choice. They need someone who can sell hope over the summer, otherwise their financial position will only get worse. Tuesday May 14, 2013 1:50 1:50 I'd also give Mark Williams a ring, to see where his head is at. I've always been a Mark Williams fan, Seems everyone is on the same page except the board.

Matt Jones - Evaluate his first 7 games
Deemotivated replied to Bring-Back-Powell's topic in Melbourne Demons
He doesn't have elite finishing skills but he works bloody hard and finds a lot of the footy. Really like this guy and hope he continues to develop. -
With a proper coach Watts, Trengove, Viney, Dawes, Clark et al can become demon messiahs

The most over paid bunch of flogs I've ever had the misfortune to support. I feel sick.

He speaks at just about every media conference instead of the "captains" now so give him the title and send trenners off to get right.

Footy Flashback - 2000 Qualifying Final
Deemotivated replied to DemonWorshipper's topic in Melbourne Demons
Rewatched this again this morning to lift my spirits.... There was a real hard edge to our team that day and a fair bit of swagger too! Neita to mentor Tommy Mac and The Ox to work with our key forwards. -
14th... Really?? Tell me that after a loss to the suns.

I agree with the sentiment but it can go the other way too. If you repeatedly pick guys who are not performing at AFL level and not picking kids on merit it can destroy the confidence. Our biggest issue is skills and trust. They go hand in hand and it doesn't matter what age or experience a player has got if a player doesn't trust another players ability, skill or workrate it all falls over very quickly.

In Dawes, Taggert, Magner (if grimes is put on LTI list. Out Grimes, Trengrove, Mckenzie.

Well to all the tipsters here who had us getting done by over 100 points... There's a slight positive. Reality is we were second rate with disposal and spread but we are at least not laying down. I can see us getting better down the track.

typical post half time crap...
-
Is it too simplistic to keep them back for simple kick to kick drills.... our kicking is a joke. Oh for our 2 key forwards...
-
Bloody hell..... 1 less scoring shot... come on boys!!
-
Nope.... FML
-
See how Grimes is I guess...
-
Jesus we need to take our chances...
-
Really hope a few of our lesser lights are hungry as hell this weekend and grab their chance to shut a few of their "supporters" up.

Walt Disney.... We need a fairytale.... -
Is there any difference between Dawes doing stuff all in VFL or AFL? Plonk him and Gawn/Jamar in the forward line.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BILLY STRETCH
Deemotivated replied to e25's topic in Melbourne Demons
I love that we follow our sons of guns but we really need to stop running down the kids or the former player. I think Billy is developing well and I love the fact he wants to play for our basket case of a club. We as a club should be nurturing this kid and helping him all the way from here on in like we did with JV. -
Just read Watts has a hammy injury and is out this week. Who comes in?
-
Grimes is an attacking halfback that can rotate through the guts when required but should not be a permanent mid. Trenners is not currently the player we had hoped for weather that's captaincy, injury/fitness or skill set I don't know. I still have faith in him for the future. McKenzie is a stopper and that's it. His disposal is just crap. The captaincy appointments were a bloody awful decision but its done and they'll stick with them for at least this year. We need our experienced guys to stand up this year and support the jacks.
-
Agreed. But can we drop all our players because they were all guilty. Watts has copped his whack but I'd keep him up forward. He was much better up there. The most glaring thing today was how important Nate Jones is. He was tagged out of the game by Raines and as a result we couldn't win a clearance.
