And also kicks a lazy five himself!
-
If he was a bad as you like to emphasise, why is he the first named emergency? I still think that he will play as a last minute substitution for Jones (and ultimately play a big part in our win today)!

Maybe it's a just clever Roos (sic)? Maybe it's no coincidence that each of the extended interchange are midfielders? Expect N. Jones to be a late withdrawal and Watts to line up in his regular position!

I think that you might be on the money with Watts replacing N. Jones! The interchange named are all inside/outside midfielders! The collateral damage arising from the late news of Jetta and Spencer being injured (plus the promotion of White) is that it doesn't auger well for Casey's depth going into their Elimination Final tomorrow.

Or Tommy Mac?

Some serious questions asked about Paul Roos ...
CBDees replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
I don't know why we are critisising Roos when Garry Lyon picks against Melbourne week in and week out. What sort of message does that send players from a past captain?P.s. On the few ocassions that he does pick us (e.g. Against Carlton & Essendon) it is like a curse and we invariably lose! -
We are nearly a week into this thread and no announcement from the Club?
-
If we pull off a win, would you like to list them for us on Monday?
-
Viney, Tyson & Vince!(Also Trengove who is effectively a new player!)
-
Generally in agreement but would rather Watts ahead of HL who disappoints with his turnovers. Also, could Frost and Stretch be your two ?s?p.s there are also a few positional shuffles that you could consider! p.p.s. Also, unlike some, I haven't given up on (200cm) Fitzy!
-
Next year I hope that our obligatory Round 23 Etihad match against GWS/Adelaide (after a successful trading period) has the following line up:B: Jetta. Frost. Dunn HB: Salem. T. Mac O. Mac C: Vince. Dangerfield. Tyson R: Gawn. Trealoar. Viney HF: Watts. Hogan Petracca F: Garlett. Fitzy Kent I: N. Jones, Brayshaw, Vanders, Trengrove (sub) Fitzy, T. Mac, O. Mac and Frost's positions to be interchangeable after assessment post pre-season
-
Then why did the FD sign him up for an extension? It is not as though they haven't been able to assess him for two years!
-
Because Bisbane won the first quarter whereas we were ten goals down after the first quarter. The Hawks were playing catch up!
-
Time to shut this thread now that we are rumoured to have resigned Toumpas!
-
At least White has shown enough form to suggest that he should be trialled in the last game!
-
So you miss two weeks with concussion (like Jetta) and you suddenly become 50/50 with no potentional? I think that the clip in the link below from his last game suggests that there is some upside with Fitzy!http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-premiership/video-melbournes-jack-fitzpatrick-kicks-running-goal-in-vfl-for-casey-scorpions/story-e6frf3e3-1227487350475

Out: Jones, Jones, Spencer, Newton, O. McDonald In: Brayshaw, Riley, Dawes, White, Harmes
-
Yes despite his holding the Western Bulldog's $1M man to a single possession and some BOG performances for Casey. I am not sure why we are not playing a 200cm KP player who can ruck and play both ends? Maybe we should trade him so he can replicate what Steph Martin did at another Club!
-
As a #4 draft pick he has probably never even sighted a 'rookie contract'!
-
At least Watts was one of our goal kickers today and it is nice to recognise that he is " probably better than Matt Jones"!
-
O. McDonald (1) - after tomorrowPetracca (0) Hunt (0) White (0) King (0)

Hey let's get really ambitious: 1) a win at Domain Stadium Followed by: 2) a win at Etihad Giving us: 3) two wins in a row And: 4) seven wins for the season, including: 5) Three Hoodoos broken in a fortnight!
-
Yes, and by comparison, the player that many Demonlanders would have liked to have seen playing for us, Nic Natanui, is rated the second worst kick in the AFL.
