What's Our Most Iconic Number?
49 without a doubt. Most recently donned by Daniel Nicholson and James Magner. The proud and recent history of that number alone explains why the club hasn't given it to anyone since.

Jayden Hunt
Plenty of overreaction happening on this thread. A 22 year old player who hasn't yet played 50 games is having some issues with form? Impossible. Jayden will be back.

Changes v The Blues
Weed won't be dropped. Played a handy role in some early goals and was decent in the ruck. I think the coaches are happy to give him some time so that he can find his feet in the side, similar to Oscar McDonald over the last year or two. Plus he can allow Hogan and McDonald to roam up the ground when required. The answer is: IN: Viney OUT: Tyson Well, someone has to make way for the skipper. I've always liked Tyson, but its becoming harder and harder to defend him after a mixed performance. His disposal has continuously let him down and he isn't hitting the scoreboard as often as he once did. Both ANB and Harmes, whose spots were probably under the most pressure to keep their spots played their best games of the year and deserve another week.

Demonland Player of the Year 2018 - Round 8
Really tough game to decide on votes. It feels like nearly every player had a bite of the cherry. 6. Harmes - Best game for the club. 33 touches, nine marks and six tackles. These are the type of numbers I think we all knew that Harmes was capable of considering his VFL stats a few years ago but we thought we'd never see. My only gripe was with his finishing. Could've easily finished with a couple of goals. 5. McDonald - How important is this guy to our forward structure? Now I know why we keep bombing it into the forward 50. He's going to clunk at least half of what comes his way. Nine goals in three games. Could easily finish with 45+ at the seasons end if he stays injury free which would be a phenomenal effort considering he missed the first five rounds of the year. 4. Oliver - 29 touches and 11 tackles after being well held early in the game. Absolute monster in congestion. 3. Salem - Was uncharacteristically sloppy at times but he's starting to piece together a full four quarter performance. That goal in the final quarter was class as well. 2. Lewis - Solid as a rock. Putting together a handy few weeks. 1. Brayshaw - Picked up where he left off last week with another nice haul of possessions. Like Harmes, the only issue was his conversion. Should've finished with at least three majors today. I'm just nitpicking though, its great to see this guy back doing what he does best! Honorable mentions to just about everyone else in the team. I feel like we had no bad performers today. Even Weideman, who only had the six possessions had a hand in some early goals.

Clarry Plays Handball
Clarry is 20 years old and would already come close to being one of the top five Demon midfielders of all time. You know you've picked up a good player when his only fault is that he utilises his laser like handballs too often. The kid is a freak.

Angus Brayshaw
If you think about it, this is Gus' first clear run of football since his first season in 2015. The poor kid has had some shocking luck over the last two seasons. Hopefully we give him every chance to cement his position in the team. He certainly wasn't our worst on Sunday.

Demonland Player of the Year - Round 4
Calmed down just enough to give this a bash 6. Oliver - Just your standard Oliver game. 11 tackles showed that he was one of the few to continuously hit the Hawks hard. 5. OMac - Who would've thought that with the likes of Jetta, Hibberd and now Lever in our backline, we'd be saying that Oscar has been our best defender so far in 2018? 4. Gawn - Set a club record for most hit outs in a game with 66. Massive effort. Its just a shame that Hawthorn read his taps better than the players who trained with him all pre-season. 3. Hogan - Was everywhere in the first quarter with 12 touches and a goal. 2. Jones - By no means a massive game statistically but was able to shut down Mitchell for most of the match. 1. Kent - Played the quarter of his life before fading into near obscurity. Still encouraging signs though.

AFL App game statistics
According to those stats, Hogan's top speed yesterday was equal to that of Hartung and Garlett. Wow.

Coburg Lions v Casey Scorpions - VFL Round 1
For those watching, does it look likely that Baker will debut sometime this season?

Coburg Lions v Casey Scorpions - VFL Round 1
Casey Twitter listed Weed with seven touches and three goals for the opening term. Did they accidentally count an extra goal?
