Congratulations to ANB who will run out for game number 100 on Monday night! A good story of perseverance after two years rotating between the senior team and the VFL and nearly being traded at the end of last season. He's come back with a great attitude and is quite possibly the personification of the 'selfless' approach embraced by the side this season. He doesn't always accumulate big numbers from a stats perspective, but he's playing a key pressure role in our forward half alongside Pickett and Spargo. Seems to have really developed some good leadership qualities over the last couple of years as well. I still have flashbacks of when he burst onto the scene in his second or third game and snagged a few to help seal our famous win against Geelong back in 2015. What a day that was!

Happy to see Harmes back, but disappointed to lose AVB Was far from our worst last weekend.

This isn't just us, this has spread throughout the competition like wildfire. During one of the earlier game's today, one of the commentator's mentioned that goal kicking accuracy is currently at an all time low, and we're talking 150 years of VFL/AFL football.

"I wish that Melbourne finish the end of the round on top of the AFL ladder"

Hopefully all his flair and instinct hasn't been coached out of him already. Looked a seriously exciting player last year.

I was working in retail a couple of years ago during Grand Final day (proudly wearing my Melbourne scarf even though we were thumped by West Coast in the prelim the week before) when I served two older gentlemen. One noticed my scarf and made mention that the other's son used to play for Melbourne some years back. Curiosity got the better of me and obviously, I couldn't help but ask who the player was. The player's name was Troy Broadbridge. Rest in Peace Troy.

Inspiring win by North, kudos to them. West Coast are in serious trouble. A smashing against the Swans last week, and now a flat uninspiring performance at home against the favourites for the spoon. They like Richmond, are now a serious chance of missing the 8 with teams like St KIlda and Essendon nipping at their heels.

Scrimshaw and Jiath likely outs next week for Hawthorn. Getting absolutely rolled by Freo at the moment who aren't even playing that well.

Might not be next week, but I'd love to see AVB get a crack before seasons end. Was a real catalyst in our success at the end of 2018. Will be watching the VFL this afternoon with great interest.

Richmond's 6th worst score in their entire history

As much as its enjoyable watching Richmond lose, this has been an infuriatingly terrible game of football.

It's hard to estimate where his value sits at the moment. He clearly has talent and he's shown he can perform at the senior level, but his season to date (alongside the final month of 2020) has left much to be desired. Looking at the stats, he's only managed 4 goals from his last 9 games of senior football. He just seems totally devoid of any confidence at the moment. Marks aren't sticking, goals aren't coming and his impact on the side over the last month has been non-existent. It's hard to see him playing against the Bombers in 12 days. Like many, I'm hoping he can turn it around but the clock is ticking. On the plus side, I'm looking forward to Big Benny Brown have an extended run at full forward after the bye.

Flat, flat, flat. Never looked likely today. Countless players down on form. A slight throwback to previous years with players like Oliver and Petracca trying too hard and getting caught instead of taking the first option. Kudos to JJ and Jackson who tried hard all day. Credit to Collingwood. Pressure was outstanding for the whole game.
