  1. If our recent VFL recruits in Hannan and Fritsch are any indication, I'm excited to see what Hore and Wags 2.0 can provide to the team. Congratulations to them both!
  2. Looks like some players are calling it a day and with that, so will I. Thanks for reading!
  3. Harmes wearing a glove and Viney has his left knee strapped but you wouldn't really know based on how they're training. Both will be fine for Round 1.
  4. OMac nails a running shot at goal. I''m clearly hallucinating.
  5. Not much too report at the moment. Players just having shots at goal. Lockhart with a lovely crumb and snap.
  6. I swear Melksham could snap goals in his sleep. Makes it look so effortless.
  7. TMac, Weed, Keilty and Bradtke practicing some overhead marking. Tom providing some nice support to the boys regarding their technique.
  8. And that'll be all she wrote for march simulation. Players now look to be back training in their respective positions. May and Jeffy left a little while ago.
  9. Absolutely gorgeuous pass from Hore who finds Spargo, who slots it from the boundary. Shades of his goal from the final against the Hawks.
  10. Bradtke in front of me doing some ruck drills. Good leap on him but obviously raw.
  11. Couple of nice moments from the potential debutante in Hore. Knows when to engage and when to stay on the ground level to crumb. Hunt definitely looks to be playing forward. Meanwhile, Clarry sets up Petracca with a lace out pass. Trac misses the set shot.
  12. I believe he had a hip issue. Didn't play any pre-season matches and the last injury list had him at 3-4 weeks.
  13. ANB with a characteristically sloppy kick. Does well in recovering the ball though. Melksham with a nice chip pass to C.Wagner who slots an easy one.
  14. Fritsch can seriously kick a football. Absolutely centimetre perfect pass to the Weed who converts.
  15. The white gurnseys are out. Looks like we're getting some match simulation!
  16. Looks very lively. Has pace and can use the football.
  17. Lever looks closer than 12-16 weeks. Just saw him running at full tilt and snapping at goal. He's also competing comfortably one on one with Tim Smith. The club is probably just being very conservative in his progress considering its his second ACL.
  18. Yep, that's definitely him. Welcome to the club Jay!
  19. Can anyone tell me who's wearing the #43? Definitely not Guy Walker. Whoever it is, I can't say he'll get a game soon. Just accidently nailed one of the trainers in the hip with a lace out drop punt. That'll leave a bruise. EDIT: Now that I think of it, there's every chance it could be Lockhart.
  20. I like the look of Jordan. Just saw him training with the likes of Jones, Petracca and Oliver at the moment in some one on one contested ball drills and can hold his own. Lovely kick as well. EDIT: And of course as I say that, Clarry nails him in a dynamite tackle. Holding the ball!
  21. Haven't seen him yet. Also, May now running laps. Doesn't seem too hindered by anything. Can only presume the club is making sure he's 100% for Round 2 against Geelong.
  22. Keilty and Hunt training with the forwards with the latter just nailing a flat drop punt at goal from 50m. Sounded good off the boot!
  23. Jones, Viney, Harmes, Preuss and Melksham with the main group. EDIT: Also just saw KK training with the main group.
  24. Garlett, Lever, Smith (of the Tim variety) and May in rehab.
  25. Pruess in the VFL? I thought the coaching staff would've preferred to see another sample of the 'Prawn' ruck combo before round 1. Excited to see May in the red and blue though!
