Congrats to Tommy Mac who'll play his 50th game on the big stage this weekend. Although much is said about his disposal, he's easily become one the top defenders going around which is incredible considering he's only 21 and about to play his 50th game. Great one on one player and a key prospect for the future for the Dees. Hopefully we retain him.

Can win the ball, can run and is tough...but he desperately needs to work on his disposal. Otherwise, I'm a huge fan considering we drafted him up at pick 50 odd. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he's missed a game since he debuted in round 1 last year.

I'm thrilled that Bail and Jetta have found their place in the side after years of inconsistant appearances but it's disappointing that first round draft picks lick Blease and Strauss haven't pushed for selection yet. Strauss especially is running on thin ice and needs to show something in the next 2-3 months.

Should be gawn for a few weeks at the very least. Big loss for the Pies ahead of QB but a huge gain for us.

Just watched the replay after attending yesterday... - N.Jones is a $&@$ing workhorse. Incredible final term and overall game, he was everywhere. - Tyson is such a smooth mover with classy disposal. The Black/Pendles/Hodge comparisons are well justified - Pederson was marking everything. Took 4-5 great grabs and was crucial to our win. - On the topic of great grabs, Howe was great in defence today (minus 2-3 dodgy kicks). Took a fair few intercept marks. Good to see him marking instead of punching. - Gawn and Jamar annihilated Richmond in the ruck. Great ruck duo. Prefer Gawn over Spencer at the moment. - Watts probably played one his best quarters for the club in the last when he worked and led hard. - I cringe everytime he has the footy but McDonald did a good job on Riewoldt. - Loved the tackling pressure from Dawes and Pederson. Though I thought Dawes had butterfingers throughout the game. - The way Viney is able to break tackles is outstanding. Fastest brick I've ever seen. - JKH was the perfect sub. Had 5 or so handy touches and kicked the sealer. - Toump had a good second quarter. Terrific pass to Watts. His confidence is starting to build. - Grimes is probably the only negative from the game.
