  1. I saw him play in APS v AGS ... impressed in patches. I would have thought a rookie option. Very light on build. Was quick and runs with the footy. A punt at #57
  2. the odds appear to be Freeman 50% (Demonland & Emma Quayle) , Salem 40% (AFL.com), Sheed 5%, Aish 2%, Scharenberg 2%, Lennon 1%.
  3. Demonland in 2012 wanted Ollie Wines ... and his form warranted that in 2013. Freeman seems to be our pick in 2014
  4. agreed ... I think clear top 7 then Freeman, Salem & Sheed. Sheed is bigger, as skilled and has that long left foot kick. Not disappointed if D Sheed is #9
  5. Boyd, Kelly, Aish, Bontempelli, Kolodddjjjasnjiiii, Scharenberg, Billings ... Likely its Freeman(my pref), Salem or Sheed. Could one of the top 7 slide??
  6. Clear favourite on Demonland (2012 Ollie Wines was the call). Will Demonland get the raging bull Freeman as a ready to play, fast mid that MFC needs. (and who our kids can go Wow when he speeds down the MCG wing).
  7. Salem... Skilled, evasive, smart... light on right now (needs a pre season). I still prefer Freeman but can see why Salem appeals. Classic Swans & Hawks style left footed mid.
  8. All the 'rumour" is that Mav Weller is a "bit of a di#ck@head and is full of himself. No doubting his footy ability ... but was behind 5-6 mids at the Suns (Suns will bring in Jack Martin this year as well). He is 20-21, ready to go and can play at AFL standard. I would look at him as a definite rookie option.
  9. Sam Blease to become a forward threat ... capable of a 40+ goal season
  10. possible rookie option ... rookie pick 50 ish.
  11. A small forward would be handy ... Malcolm Karpany, Dwayne Wilson or Jay Kennedy-Harris.
  12. Matt Sully impressed in the VFL. Certainly a rookie chance but Dees should look at him as a pick 57 option.
  13. Freeman ... pace, aggression, raging bull, Melbourne boy, solid built. Ready to go for '14.
  14. if available, Scharenberg is a big decision to make ...

  16. groundswell has shifted ... Demonland had pick 9 likelihood as 70% Freeman, 20% Lennon, 5% Salem and 5 others 1% likely, NOW Scharenberg could be the steal of the 2013 draft !!
  17. Roos likes tough players who take no backward steps. Freeman is a raging bull.
  18. Fingers crossed Daniel McStay is available at pick 40
  19. Absolutely ... he is ready to go. Smart, tough, skilled. Plays like Brendan Goddard.
  20. I like Freeman, Lennon and Salem. All Vic kids. Scharenberg would be tempting if he slipped down... I rate him top 3
  21. heart yes ... but lack of pace and injuries cut him down. A good WAFL career ahead.
  22. 9/ Nathan Freeman... the running bull 40/ Jay Kennedy-Harris... small fwd 57/ Jake Kolidhashnji... tall defender fingers crossed
  23. Just read on AFL website that McStay has been courted by some clubs and may go Top 30. He will be a very good CHB type.
