STABBING IN THE DARK by Whispering Jack
spirit of norm smith replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes and Houlahan was there for the pick. I rated Houlahan at 20-25 so amazed he lasted longer than our selections. Wanted Houlahan at 36. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO

Real competitor but will need to work extra hard. Must watch Caleb Daniel and Jake Gresham really closely. They have overcome height deficiencies. -
Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch

Keeps the Casey pathway connections. Motivator for the other young guns. -
Yes needed Baker. There’s a spot there if he’s good enough. I have seen in the NEAFL and has the pace required. A good pickup in the end.
-
Garner? Wooller? Midfield runner needed. why Petty??
-
Garner? Wooller? Petty. Wtf
-
Hayes is the slider as predicted
-
Collis and Lefau are gone. Club also wanted Hulett to sign on but he has gone to local footy.
-
Agree. Taylor always springs a surprise. I think pick 47 will be potentially a smoky
-
Sorry still not a Petruccelle fan. Hopefully 29- Bailey (others Wooller Hayes Garner Houlahan Spargo ) 31- Wooller (others as above) 36- Fritsch (others Miers Starcevich) 47- Coleman-Jones (others McLean, Mynott, Farrell)
-
Amazing mock by Anderson Baker at 29. Hmmm. He is fast but disposal needs work. Garner appeals more if available Hayes at 31. An absolute steal Ling at 39. Wow. Pace smarts and a mid goalkicker. Yes though I would grab him at 29. Surely Cats take him Fritsch at 47. Yes. Though I’d take him earlier
-
Ouch. Petruccelle - Turnover king. We need players that can hit a target.
-
Ridiculous exercise. Just some lazy journos wasting time.

Casey confident that 7-8 of key development list will stay at Casey and push for the senior team (Collis, Hillard, Cox, Allsopp, Lefau, Vanderhaar, Gordon)

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
spirit of norm smith replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hmmm. Ballard, Moore, Taylor and Walker. Not a win here. Ballard ... skinny Grgic type. Disposal is below average. Moore ... is ok at 31 but not if Garner or Wooller is available. Taylor ... tall defender. We have plenty. Walker ... opportunist forward with some mid potential Would prefer if available on this listing 29 Wooller 31 Garner 36 Farrell 47 McLean or Coleman-Jones -

Don’t agree with some of the rankings but it is comprehensive and shows a lot of time and effort. -

2017 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
spirit of norm smith replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hamish Brayshaw. Great grab on afl website. Would be great to see MFC potentially grab him at 47. He has the ability to make it. -
It’s a no no no no no no from me
-
Yes a definite chance. I see him as a 25-35 draft pick and he would be a good choice at our picks (any one of 29,31,36).

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
spirit of norm smith replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
Fritsch was out with Jamie Elliott. Very high risk draftee.
