Farewell Dom Tyson
Tyson for Suns pick 31. 2nd round. KK to Dees for pick 45. 3rd Round. So Suns: TYSON AND PICK 45 Demons : KOLODJASHNIJ AND PICK 31.

2018 Player Reviews: # 20 Corey Maynard
A punt. A risk. A potential player. Unfortunately we will wait to see if he fits.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
Slow progress. I donât really trust Craig C. Hope the KK deal gets done soon. Maybe waiting on what happens to Hogan and May.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Likely Dees will look at 1-2 delisted free agents to top up given likely turnover of 10-12 players. List to date of such players doesnât quite excite. Or Maybe some late trade action might see MFC offering picks in 60-70s to grab someone as a 11th hour deal.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Preuss gives us options and backup. Solid real ruck backup. Fingers crossed that he will be onboard.
-
Andrew Gaff
If it was the choice of eagles or demons then I would care. But itâs another Kangas miss !! perhaps S$$$cully and Kangas are the perfect match.
-
Phantom Drafts - 2018
Lachlan McDonnell is on the radar hopefully. Skilled midfield/ half forward. Good pace shown in state combine. 2.94 seconds for the 20 metres is quick. As quick as anyone.
-
Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!
Agree. If we got 2-3 midfield injuries, we have limited coverage. Itâs a long year.
-
What Makes a De$tination Club?
When will the Dees get a free (FREE) agent. They are free in terms of you give no TRADE OR DRAFT PICKS. We got Lever but he cost us two 1st round picks Lynch, Gaff, Dahlhaus, Conca will cost their new clubs nothing (just the $$$$$)

Rumour File
Menzel only and only if he comes for cheap biscuits and performance contract. Pick 60ish as a trade. We can give him the 2-years he wants. Might be handy if we need some depth and goal kicking. Third forward option deep inside forward 30 Menzel would like our oversupply into fwd 50. Just need to ensure a Spargo or small forward provides to forward chase. Risk V reward

CHANGES 2018 by The Oracle
Yes potentially up to a dozen new faces likely. Some good opportunities to access new talent. Still hoping Hogan stays but seems more and more unlikely.

2018 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Tom McKenzie (Northern Knights) Get him in. 25/30 in goal kicking at combine and finished first at a 2.9 seconds in sprint Has the football skills and speed. I still think demons in with a chance to grab him if we keep the late 2nd round pick around 36-38.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
I think Casey upgrade mean support the progress by selecting a Casey VFL player in the national draft. It makes sense if thereâs a quality youngster available Jay Lockhart, Corey Wagner, and Mitch Lewis all definitely worthy of a late draft pick. Unfortunately no Fritsch gold but some rough and ready types to provide depth and potential.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yes. Iâll keep Jesse if he wants to stay. But if his life is better with family in the Wild West than we all move out.

AFL DRAFT COMBINE 2018
Matty Lloyd - Rebels under 18s midfielder His parents must have been Bombers fans or had no idea about an Essendon full forward. I wonder if he does the grass thing before kicking for goal !!! Velvet sledgehammer 2
-
Chris Jansen
Mature 23yo midfielder. Ex SANFL star who moved to Kangas VFL team in 2018. Strong body. Good skills. Quite burst of pace at stoppages. Kangas AFL would have played him in 2018 if available. Co-captained& asst coached Kangas VFL He meets our need to midfield depth. We should get in before Kangas.

Pull the trigger? ... 2018 Edition
Hogan for picks 5 & 6. Ask Suns for May and Kolodjashnij for picks 6 and 40. Effectively Hogan for May and pick 5.

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Yes lots of changes to the list. Delisted 6 players out, 2 retired and 4 potentially further trade outs. Need to put the ânow hiringâ sign up.

Jackson Nelson
187 cm 84 kg tall defender wingman. This kid has been starved of opportunity at the Eagles. 42 games in 4 years. A definite chance to get him back to Victoria (although he is a Geelong boy). Good pace and skilled. Was tipped to be drafted around 25-26 in 2014 draft but slipped to 51 games. Solid build under the Eagles gym program. With a potential 3rd round pick coming our way from the Saints for Kent (around 43-44) we should make a play for Jackson Nelson now.
-
Josh Mahoney - Trade Radio 2/10/18
Great listening to Mahoney. Very open and honest discussion. Affirmed all the player potential trade news and other opportunities. I like the confirmation about Kolodjashnij medical checks Confirmation that Hunt is required and a role is there once he gets back to his best

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
Update. 7 off the list. 4 trades potentially out. Kent to Saints. Vandenburg to Swans. Hogan to Freo. Tyson to anywhere. Trade Ins? Preuss. May (if Hogan goes home to Freo). Kolodjashnij.
