    Troy Davis and pick 38 if we choose to trade something? they are keen on a key defender, Davis would be delisted anyway, and 38 is prob similar to the compo they would get anyway?

    I understand the talk of this being a hard slog, and i agree, but i think we are going to find very quickly with a much stronger coaching panel just how much confidence and poor coaching has hampered this group, and to a lesser extent injury, we have never had Clark and Dawes on the field together, i wouldn't be surprised if we're a totally different side next year, does that mean we will make the 8? i doubt it but, hopefully, this year will become a distant memory very quickly.

    Scott Watters just hinted that the right sort of offer would see the Saints looking at moving on Dal and a few others. What are people's thoughts of getting in his ear as a potential free agent?

    what are you on about? my comment was about poor management, not a conspiracy, or anything like a conspiracy I think it's hilarious that they have stuffed this up as bad as they clearly have, i have mate who are very involved at Brisbane, they said the target list was 1 Roos 2 Eade 3 Craig Don't really look like getting any at this point when you sack a club legend like voss who yes made some bad decisions you shouldn't do it three weeks out from the end of the season with the finals still very possible ( potentially only missed out by a point ) just to talk to Paul Roos, Voss had earned the final three rounds imo.

    I would expect a clearly more competitive and better coached unit in 2014, not sure if that will mean more wins, but i would hope far less floggings, far more respect from the comp and some exciting footy from our boys. reckon 3-4 players might have huge break outs under a decent coach, going to guess now it will be Jack Trengove Jack Watts Colin Sylvia Jeremy Howe

    So Mr Watts, how do you feel about the clubs direction now? looks almost certain to sign Paul Roos, Geoff Walsh from all reports looks good too PrIority pick on the way Jesse Hogan coming onto the list or you can go to Carlton who don't look like ever being more than a B- team oh how the tables have turned * Laughs like evil mastermind *

    Couldn't see Roos signing if he thought half the list would be suspended by Asada or something so i suppose that means everyone is fairly confident that we are in the clear there too?

    we have good backs, we have good forwards and we have a potentially very good midfield, improvement comes when we hire the best possible midfield coach and develop Trengove, Viney, Toumpas, Kent, M.Jones, N.jones, Evans, Tapscott, Watts into quality mids didn't mention Grimes because he is imo a good half back player, cory enright type Watts i think will play alot on the Wing under Roos

    He wouldn't voice it publicly and then turn around and say no, he would look stupid. I thought last night it may have been a message for Dees fans in a way, Eade pulls out, Craig seeminly going to take over even though he hasn't done fantastically well, Roos saying that has clearly given us all alot of heart and hope, makes us more attractive to the players we are chasing, sponsors and so on will be more interested in getting on board, out of contract players will be more interested in staying.

    This is a point that frustrates me, he doesn't look like rubbish imo, he looks like a young mid hampered by some sort of injury, OP or whatever for this year he is 1st in tackles 3rd in disposals 3rd in dream team ( weird stat i know but i think it does reflect good all round performance) he is currently averaging over 20 touches a game under craig, so he certainly hasn't lived up to the hype at this stage, but he is a long way from being at the point of saying he isn't going to make it either, Aish to me oozes class, and if we get a PP i wouldn't be surprised if we took Aish and Kelly at 2 and 3 oddly enough it's abit like a Scully and Trengove combo in alot of ways

    I am desperately looking forward to the day Roos signs and the first open training, i just wanna be there when Roos says to Jack Watts and a few other boys.. " this is how hard you need to work at AFL level, anything else is unacceptable"" Make no mistake Roos will improve this list 20% just on the increased workrate alone, might see alot of players in a totally different light next year i am tipping a massive breakout year from Jack Trengove, Roos clearly believes in him, he seems to be finding confidence and a full pre season and the belief of a good coach might really help him.

    Things seem to be falling into place nicely, Tudor would be a fantastic get for MFC, would be intersting to see if Roos would keep any of the current coaches on, Craig and Rawlings have both been quite reasonable for the club, maybe a coaching Panel of, Roos Tudor Ling Kennelly Rawlings

    One year contract with a clause giving him a second if he is able to hold his spot in the team for x amount of games and passes a medical test at the end of the season?

    How do you stand up in front of the members who contribute their hard earned to the club and say, yeah we sacked a club legend who wasn't doing to badly, failed to sign our top two targets and decided to hire a bloke who has been doing pretty well in a lower comp. if it wasn't so funny i'd feel terrible for them.
