8 and 2 subs or 8 and 0 subs? -
Saty, you're obviously fairly involved with the club, and see alot of this sort of thing first hand, do you think things are probably panning out better than anyone including Roos expected? he seems to have worked wonders in not very long
-
his skills are fantastic and i think he will be a great marking option around the ground, he is going to beat most midfielders in the air, i agree 2014 is the year for Watts and Trenners to show us why we drafted them so high

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-02-28/watts-set-to-ignite-howe I agree, i reckon he is going to absolutely love the midfield role and will be our best player by the end of 2014, my tip for the bluey.

How big would a win against geelong be for us? Add an extra 2000 members and a genuine growing belief in everyone that the wheel is finally turning -
Four points is four points, don't think a team in our position really has any right to be picky about how we get wins, if infact we are good enough to win

I reckon Roosy will be really keen to settle as much of the side in as possible, particularly the backline, i can't imagine there will be a whole lot of unforced changes, alot will be about unity and getting to know each others games, Grimes, Terlich, Frawley, Dunn, Mcdonald, Garland to me is our first choice back line but Georgeou is fantastic cover if we get an injury, as are clisby and strauss -
He wasn't much more than a link up player in my opinion, people need to watch Dean Terlich and Jack Grimes, they were both far better off half back than Strauss

I reckon we can knock off the cats and win by 3 -
I get he hasn't lived up to the hype, not the only player ever but he has given us 10 years of service and that includes more than on field, family days, footy clinics, i'm sure alot of kids had the number 12 on their jumpers so i am sad to see him gone, but happy we got imo a better player for the stage in development we are at in Bernie Vince in return

My best friends is a mate of Jesse and i am told he loves Melbourne, loves Roosy, loves his time at the club and She would be shocked if he walks anytime soon, apparently we fly him back to perth for visits quite regularly so homesickness hasn't been an issue -
A good coach gets the best out of his players full stop, Mark Neeld not only didn't manage that with any player but he hindered the development of others by putting too much pressure on them, playing them too early, playing them out of position or simply just not understanding that his hard ass'd attitude didn't work for everyone. Jack Trengove Jack Watts Jack Grimes all fit into this catagory Roos has had one pre season and has all three in career best form, the whole list loves him and the team is starting to crawl back to where it should have been anyway.

Geez roosy is impressive, sorta bloke you would follow into battle and want to do well for

Just having a win and potentially making it to the finals of the nab cup Would be great for the club -
Would be interesting to see one of Mark Neeld to contrast the two different attitudes

Well worth a watch, such a positive influence! http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2014-02-26/paul-roos-micd-up-part-1

Alexis Georgiou James Frawley Lynden Dunn Jack Grimes Tom Mcdonald Dean Terlich Jack Watts Bernie Vince Jack Trengove Jimmy Toumpas Cam Pederson Jeremy Howe Sam Blease Jack Fitzpatrick Jesse Hogan Jake Spencer Nathan Jones Dom Tyson Daniel Cross Viv Michie Matt Jones Jordie Mckenzie Shannon Byrnes Dom Barry that's my guess anyway -
I'm all for it, would happily chip in $30 per win or something like that, couldn't offer any more as i am not really rolling in money but i think it's a great idea.

Yeah, bloody impossible with how little info the club lets out sometimes haha -
As PJ said we will only again be a great club when we are a great football team, great football teams draw bigger crowds, sign more members, get more game time on TV and such, as the team improves i have no doubt so will that side of things, i think right now the equalisation initiative would be great, if we can get this salary cap to 100% it can only make us a more competitive side and get us there faster.
