I missed that one, i really rate Salem as a young player, i would say he's the best first year talent i have seen come through our doors in a few years, he has elite skills, great outside polish but has the grunt and inside game to match it, very complete player

Howe might net us a first round pick, he is an icing on the cake type player, which is no good if you have no cake Trengove might relish a chance to play in SA so maybe Port or the Crows will send us a second rounder for him Grimes works his butt off but really he isn't AFL standard in alot of areas and Chip might as well play the year out at the Hawks coz that's where he will be after that, Clark i reckon will retire, Blease, Tapscott, Strauss, Byrnes, Nicholson, Spencer, Jamar, Fitzpatrick, pederson and probably more will be delisted or traded for what little we can get

Frosty i don't even know what to say, what would you like the club to do? pick the best available player, or pick the inside mid even if he isn't rated as highly as others that are available? Struass, Blease, Tapscott, Morton all huge errors Watts, Sylvia, Trengove: loads of talent, terrible development Toumpas, Salem, Kennedy-harris - need 50 games to get a good read of where they are and where they can get too, all showing good signs but need to work on others which is perfectly normal for young players

Howe, Trengove, Grimes, Frawley all won't be Dees in 2015 imo

I'd go as far as saying they stay there until they're too good to ignore, we should have players in the 1's that are desperate to hole their spot, not giving us reasons to drop them

I think for me the biggest thing is developing, he should be able to play a more dominant role in the 2's and i'm sure he will be asked to go back there and work on bits and pieces, he probably hasn't got a full game at AFL tempo in him at the minute

I'm not really surprised we are in this position, i thought we were the better side round 1, but couldn't convert, even one of our big forwards and i reckon we would have fallen over the line, same deal this round, 1 big forward and some better finishing west coast smashed us, but it's in the ruck we are getting destroyed, Mumford, 60 hit outs or whatever and Nic Nat and Cox the week before, we need Jamar simply because he will be better in the ruck than spencer.

I reckon the top 3 are pretty well bang on to what the top 3 in our best and fairest would be right now
