  1. Liam Jones had been offered 2 weeks for his bump, I thought it was worth 4 personally. Severe reckless high contact Worlds worse than what viney did
  2. Grand new flag was spot on and provided great insight during the roosy saga, his info is very reliable
  3. He won't do it, because there is no way Stkilda, Brisbane, the doggies or us won't pick him in the PSD if he decides to leave he has huge currency, we will ask alot to get this deal done if it comes to that.
  4. if i remember correctly he was touted as a late first round pick and got overlooked by most clubs, i just can't see why that would be any different now when he hasn't been able to crack a senior game
  5. I feel as though Michie could play Byrnes role and has significantly more upside.
  6. Magner and Valenti were one paced solid VFL players, if they were good enough to make it at AFL level they'd still be on the list Mckenzie can shut down top line AFL mids, as well as collect good numbers of the ball, the only thing missing from a genuine top line tagger is the ability to impact the game offensively and put further pressure on the opposition and their opponent.
  7. he is contracted til the end of 2015 so it's a non issue really.
  8. I'm not as worried about Jesse taking off to freo as others on here, as i have said a couple of times, my best mate is good friends with Jesse and she doesn't think he is going anywhere, reckons he loves Melbourne the city, is a huge fan of Roosy, and is just desperate to be out there being part of our rise back to relevance. Having said that even if he does decide he wants to go, we will just demand a stupid deal or PSD righto, he's yours, give us Fyfe and we will pack his bags for him.
  9. Anyone else sort of feel like everyone else is in slow motion when Dom has the ball in traffic, he seems to have enough time to sit down and read the paper while he ponders where to send the ball
  10. Callum SInclair would be a good get that wouldn't break the bank, i reckon you are right and our early pick might entice a side like freo to offer up a decent deal, i believe we would be in Tex walkers ear also so that's a possibility BIlly stretch would also be on the radar i'd say
  11. in my own defence, Lonegan ( former top 10 mid from a couple of years ago, hard bodied, ready to go) and a first round pick, effectively two top 10 picks for one ) O'rourke, probably not a top 2 pick, but certainly in the top 7 or 8, combined with a pick around 10 i think that deal is no worse than the tyson one, noone predicted tyson would come good this quick some of the others were abit ambitious, but if we traded picks 2 and 3 and got Lonegan, zac clarke and a couple of first round picks i personally would be fairly happy with that, a good ruckman getting close to his prime, a ready to go top 10 mid, and a couple of early picks, another couple of Salems would be handy
  12. ,Was informed the hawks want to offer chip 1.7 million over 3 years, I feel he will get better financial offers than that but the hawks guarentee regular finals footy and a decent shot at a premiership
  13. If we got pick 2 and 3 but lost chip I would try to get 2 of the following Jesse lonegan (gc) and their first round pick maybe 12 Jonothan o'Rourke and the first rounder they activated pick 10 Mitch wallis and first round pick Jack Steven Zac Clarke and first round pick Shaun Edwards and first round pick
  14. Every club in the comp will be circling gws, we need to use our cap room and try and get a couple of good kids Would be stoked with treloar, tommlinson and orourke
  15. Patton treloar sheil Tomlinson orourke plowman are all gettable, we couple potential land a couple
  16. Someone at the time said we did the trade because the guy we rated at 2 would be at 9 but they thought it was freeman
  17. He seems to have found some urgency, couple of really good tackles.
  18. N.Jones - good contested game Grimes - held griffen well ( but missed him down back ) Salem - showing classy signs Watts - some good moments Dawes - exceptionally hard worker Viney - tough as nails Frawley - pretty solid game Byrnes - the VFL calls Tyson - our best here Dunn - out of position Cross - another solid performance Garland - very welcome addition Pedersen - workrate has improved Vince - playing his role Kennedy - Harris - classy and exciting McDonald - very underrated player Howe - mark not punch Jamar - experienced quality ruckman Bail - another 9 tackles. M. Jones - Good but wasteful Terlich - excellent until injured Jetta - played his role Like This GOT THE PICTURE
  19. I'd send Chip back to play on Jack Rewoldt, he always seems to beat him, Tommy Mac should be too good for Vickery, and Garland can take edwards leaving Dunn to play the role that most suits him. failing that Pederson to CHB on vickery and Mcdonald on jack leaving chip forward.
  20. Out Byrne's , in clisby and terlich to play at the centre bounce, I still see him as a potential mid
  21. I thought Howe was really good down back, probably needs to mark rather than spoil at times but he dominates the air making him almost the perfect intercept mark
  22. The fact McDonald wasnt switched either was strange, I sat there thinking geez georgiou would be a better match up And make no mistake chip will get offers of 800k GWS and GCS will both be circling and despite the fact I can't see him leaving unless its to go to a contende, they have dollars to throw around
  23. Fair enough, we do need toumpas to come good though some pretty handy players from that draft that we overlooked
  24. Picket fence, we have toumpas, wines is a port adelaide player might be time to give up the pointless rambling on past decisions hey?
  25. 21 games and 6-8 years off his prime, he is a scary prospect
