  1. Forgot chip yeah he'd be in there
  2. I wouldn't mind Judd as a playing assistant for a year.
  3. I suppose gnf the longer we don't have a successor the better?
  4. I'm not even sure what our best 22 would be at the moment without injuries, maybe Dunn Mcdonald Jetta Grimes Garland Terlich Vince Tyson M.jones Bail Hogan Watts Gawn Dawes JKH Jamar Viney N.jones Cross Pederson Howe Trengove
  5. I'm sure Fremantle would be thrilled to let him out of a well payed three year contract just one year in.
  6. I have the feeling the coaches believe Strauss has alot more ability than he is showing
  7. Trenners will only add to the midfield depth that we are starting to build and basically comes back as a first year player, i reckon he is going to add alot. i am fairly comfortable with Gawn, Jamar and Pedo doing bits of the ruckwork, but i'd like one more young ruckman also as depth I really hope Chip stays and Roos settles him in at CHB, i reckon he is at his best when he runs and creates.
  8. I'd certainly be in the ear of Nat Fyfe and Tex Walker, we have the cap space to get them interested, Tex i'm sure wouldn't mind playing with Clis and Bernie.
  9. I see it as running back to get numbers in the backline and block space making it as difficult as possible for the opposition to get the ball forward cleanly, running forward to attack but then getting on your bike and getting back to help out the defence.
  10. The thing i am most enjoying about this year is that as Mike Sheehan said he would, Roos has improved every player on the list by 30% imo, and we have Hogan and Trengove to come back and i have a feeling Trenners will be a totally different player when he does. the most rewarding thing for me about our wins is they have scored a couple of goals at the start of each of those games and got the jump on us and we didn't panic, just stuck to our plans, starting to ingrain a belief that we can win every game, even if we are behind. rays of culture starting to shine through.
  11. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2014-05-22/three-years-for-me-as-coach-roos-
  12. The club has direction and has Roosy until the end of 2016 as senior coach, I hope Chip Tmac and Dunn decide to jump on board in the next few weeks and give us a big lift.
  13. Great news, and he will continue on at the club possibly in a role like Neil Craig had after that! I really have the feeling Kirk is the one that will take over
  14. Gibbs and Goldstein are off the market essentially, hope chip follows their lead
  15. I agree, I'm sure if he did decide he wouldn't mind playing again he would be welcomed back
  16. Tommy Mac was deeply concerned about the club's culture under Neeld, hopefully he feels alot better about things
  17. PJ will be working hard behind the scenes
  18. If I were him and the club told me I had to play footy and miss the birth of my child I'd walk out the door it's not like someone else wont pick him up. I'd say it will be his choice
  19. he has another year to run on his current contract.
  20. I understand and agree machsy but having a bloke with fyfes reputation would be good for members, huge lift for the players and is young enough to develop with our current crop, so absolutely pick up project players but I reckon Fyfe would be a huge get
  21. Delisted Strauss Nicholson Blease Tapscott Spencer Byrnes Fitzpatrick Evans and Barry delisted and 're rookied Jetta and georgiou upgraded
  22. I'd do Fyfe for Hogan hyperthetically potential superstar for a top 5 in the comp player who is only 22
  23. See if he is still this positive when we beat north
  24. I rate Martin as a player and would cost very little if anything
  25. Gee the Lions are a worry aren't they, 23,000 members, financially struggling, not doing well on field, competing with a very strong suns side in Queensland and no doubt losing members, sponsors and so on to them.
