  1. I see it as running back to get numbers in the backline and block space making it as difficult as possible for the opposition to get the ball forward cleanly, running forward to attack but then getting on your bike and getting back to help out the defence.
  2. The thing i am most enjoying about this year is that as Mike Sheehan said he would, Roos has improved every player on the list by 30% imo, and we have Hogan and Trengove to come back and i have a feeling Trenners will be a totally different player when he does. the most rewarding thing for me about our wins is they have scored a couple of goals at the start of each of those games and got the jump on us and we didn't panic, just stuck to our plans, starting to ingrain a belief that we can win every game, even if we are behind. rays of culture starting to shine through.

  4. The club has direction and has Roosy until the end of 2016 as senior coach, I hope Chip Tmac and Dunn decide to jump on board in the next few weeks and give us a big lift.
  5. Great news, and he will continue on at the club possibly in a role like Neil Craig had after that! I really have the feeling Kirk is the one that will take over
  6. Gibbs and Goldstein are off the market essentially, hope chip follows their lead
  7. I agree, I'm sure if he did decide he wouldn't mind playing again he would be welcomed back
  8. Tommy Mac was deeply concerned about the club's culture under Neeld, hopefully he feels alot better about things
  9. If I were him and the club told me I had to play footy and miss the birth of my child I'd walk out the door it's not like someone else wont pick him up. I'd say it will be his choice
  10. he has another year to run on his current contract.
  11. I understand and agree machsy but having a bloke with fyfes reputation would be good for members, huge lift for the players and is young enough to develop with our current crop, so absolutely pick up project players but I reckon Fyfe would be a huge get
  12. Delisted Strauss Nicholson Blease Tapscott Spencer Byrnes Fitzpatrick Evans and Barry delisted and 're rookied Jetta and georgiou upgraded
  13. I'd do Fyfe for Hogan hyperthetically potential superstar for a top 5 in the comp player who is only 22
  14. See if he is still this positive when we beat north
  15. I rate Martin as a player and would cost very little if anything
  16. Gee the Lions are a worry aren't they, 23,000 members, financially struggling, not doing well on field, competing with a very strong suns side in Queensland and no doubt losing members, sponsors and so on to them.
  17. I certainly hope so, because if that does happen i'd say we probably win the game, having said that i still rate Grundy as a great player of the future.
  18. Would be good to get lonegan for our second rounder, stretch with our third rounder and Moore with our 4th rounder Pick up Rosa and Goldstein as free agents and brayshaw with our first pick
  19. He Is a massive steal at pick 16-18 geez they get a good deal, lloyd Peris last year was the same deal
  20. How does Sydney picking heeney work? Can we bid on him?
  21. I think the initial thinking was we would get 2 good players for 1 great player potentially but I am of the opinion Tyson will be at least as good as Kelly and Salem could well reach that level also so it's got the potential to be a massive win for us.
  22. Young Lonegan is a good player currently not getting a run at the suns, not sure if he is injured but he would certainly be a good pickup, former top ten pick, hard tough tall inside midfielder.
  23. Bluey McKenna is a massive fan of Chip, and while he may not get massive dollars from them he is every chance of spending the next 5 years playing regular finals which I think is what he will leave for, regular finals.
