I reckon Dean Kent is a lock for round 1 just about barring injury

Would have love heeney, such a shame he isn't fair game

His health issues are very manageable in my opinion and he will get over the niggles I think any key position player carries some risk but the reward of a second Hogan is far too good to pass up

When I first saw him i was shocked how big he is Pretty dangerous trio of small forwards in Kent, jkh and garlett

Anyone else reckon frost could theoretically chop out in the ruck?

I'd rather mccartin and brayshaw to petracca.

This pick could be nearly as tough as our early ones, going to be some good players

Angus Brayshaw is this year's Ollie wines, Allen Richardson saw first hand the influence Wines had from day dot, we could end up with Petracca and McCartin yet.

I don't see how having a vial of thymomodulin could clear the players, it's still not proof they didn't take tb4 just that they happened to have another drug at the same time Did you drink beer the other night? No! Prove it! Here's a bottle of water from the same rough time.

I think there are two major points here. 1: mccartin would have the chance to develop with roo there 2: there aren't a lot of key forwards in the next couple of drafts by the looks of things

From what I am hearing the saints around about 60-40 towards taking mccartin now

So excited to see Angus Brayshaw, looks a dominant mid to me

Based on the conversations I have brayshaw is in the mix for pick 1 but less likely than the other two I think the top 3 picks are locked and it's now a matter of order I think we will have Christian petracca and Angus brayshaw next year

I can't how a first round pick has gone on to show as little as he has. An all Australian centre half forward as a junior

Pay him what he asks, he has earned it.

1- Patrick McCartin ( the saints won't pass up on a key forward of his quality to develop under Roo) 2- Angus Brayshaw ( Roos absolutely loves this kid and he is 100% ready to go round 1 2015 ) 3- Christian Petracca or Jake Lever

The impression i got was that we rate mcCartin as a certain top 5 pick, we rate Lever as a top 10 pick, obviously Roos thought he'd be there at pick 10, but i reckon there is a chance we may take a punt on Lever. Brayshaw will be a MFC player if he doesn't go pick 1, you can take that to the bank.

we might well still take Petracca all i was told is that it's far from certain, Lever and McCartin the two the could potentially take his spot.

Not Luckily, Heeney is an absolute gun and i am certain he would be pick 1 or 2 if he was fair game.

Agree, but Roos feels we have too many " flankers " he wants pure midfielders or to fill key posts, apparently doesn't feel Petracca is a pure midfielder in the way Heeney and Brayshaw are.

I really think in a top side Jeremy Howe would be far more dangerous, especially as a forward. we need to hang onto him, as we rise we will see more and more from Jeremy

I really wish we had kept pick 23 and grabbed frost in the PSD Brayden Maynard or Tom Lamb along side the players we take at picks 2 & 3 to me presents much more value than Frost and pick 40
