  1. Personally I wouldn't pick lever if he is intended to be a key back at 192 cm I just feel he is a little short for a key post I think he has strong midfield potential however
  2. Still think mccartin will be too tempting for the saints to pass up
  3. Good kid but not for a top 3 Pick. I reckon he will be a tiger at pick 12.
  4. Premiership: port Brownlow: fyfe Coleman: shultz Bluey: howe Rising star: ahern
  5. Heeney would be pick 1 if this was an open draft imo
  6. I would be annoyed if we picked Wright, happy for him to slide
  7. I still think the saints will take mccartin pick 1, quality key forwards are hard to find and if they don't take him I'm fairly sure we will.
  8. Good size, speed, skills i like the kid, not sure if i'd pass up Brayshaw or McCartin though, can see him being a top 5 pick though, reckon the pies might have a serious look
  9. I agree, i rate level neck in neck with Petracca as the most talented top end player in the draft, i am also a fan of Laverde, he just makes things happen, he perhaps tries too much at times but i see him as a really good AFL mid McCartin and Hogan should set up our forward line for the next decade though
  10. Newton is a very good clearance player, alot like Michie is well worth giving more opportunity at senior level to see how he goes
  11. I reckon we should take Lever over McCartin, i think Brayshaw is a really safe pick, but i think Lever is super impressive
  12. MFC recruiting plan should simply be, do the homework, work out who they want to pick and then pick the other bloke.
  13. Ideal - brayshaw and petracca I think it will be- brayshaw and mccartin
  14. Jmac I think that's just a coincidence, I don't think they would do this without a target in mind
  15. I understand everyone has there opinion on players but i don't see Ryder as being as good as he is being made out, if you're demanding pick 16 and a player or a star you're talking about an ALL Australian quality dominant player, i just don't see Ryder in that catagory, he's good but he isn't that good i reckon pick 16 and a player like Moore is about his worth and a win - win but clearly Essendon are still on the juice and don't really have a good grasp of reality
  16. Trengove is my favourite player so this makes me a little sad but really, he isn't comfortably in our best 22 unless he can recapture early form, the MFC need to be ruthless, pick 12 will be a very good player, and one that hasn't been scarred by the last eight years.
  17. I wonder if we could work out a deal that saw us target Devon Smith from the Giants, i rate him quite highly and seems like the sort of player who would be less of a priority for them to retain than Shiel and Treloar, float some dollars under his nose and see if we can work a deal out
  18. As great as it would have been to sign danger, even though we still might, personally i am pretty happy to just take picks 2&3 to the draft and back the development of these players, there are a few potential A graders on the list now, i'd rather see us develop our own superstars than throw absolutely everything at Danger and have him need a knee reco or something round 4 next year, knowing our luck that's exactly what would happen.
  19. Would be good at the feet of mccartin, dawes and hogan
  20. I'd say we should chase Ryder but Sarandon would demand picks 2 and 3 and Nathan Jones
  21. Imagine the saints If they pass up mccartin and he becomes a quality player, they need the key tall massively I still think petracca will be there at pick 2
  22. A Facebook page just posted " confirmed Melbourne will receive pick 3"
