I think the big thing that has people sucked in is the talks being on hold, i reckon the majority of AFL players wouldn't be super keen on discussing a long term extension with 2 years to run on an existing contract if they were in a side that had been at the bottom the entire time they were there.

Clearly he has a bit decision to make, but i think you're forgetting there is an agreement that will soon be struck that could mean an extra hundred grand or more for him at the top end of the pay scale, we've clearly improved but can we hold it over the whole season? I think Jesse will stay because we're on the rise and he's stucka round through the hard times, it seems crazy to go to a team who is about to begin a re-build.

I really think we are going to have two big advantages in this game. Gawn will dominate in the ruck, and Hogan, Pederson and Watts should have decent height advantages having said that though quick teams seem to really expose us and the dogs have plenty of speed.

He definitely does but it's not through not reading the ball, he's very good at knowing when to put a block on so Gawn or Watts can take a grab

Viney is as lippy as they come on the field haha! I still think Tyson is as good as Josh Kelly on his own, especially given he's in pretty good form at the moment, and Salem is a very solid best 22 walk up start with the talent to be a genuine A grader, i've always been very comfy with that trade!

Glen Bartlett was 100% right when he said Paul Roos was the most significant signing the club has had in a long long time, i doubt many other coaches could have done what he's been able to do in such a short space of time.
