As i said earlier, Macca said at training Jack is looking to play senior footy again so the club will really start looking at him on a form basis as of this weekend and i'm sure he'll be back in the mix in the next 2-3 weeks. will be a fantastic day for the club when jack is back out on the G and reminding everyone how good a player he is.

really looking forward to seeing ANB, he's been pretty stiff not to get a run sooner! he'll be desperate to lock down a spot in the 22 with his mate Billy.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 9

Lions were bad last week but in general they've been okay, they pushed the swans very hard only a couple of weeks ago, though i do think the injuries are going to make it very hard. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 9

we are either going to have an off week and get belted or we're going to come to play and win this game by 80 plus. Hogan to kick another 6-7 -
If JT was going to play i think we'd know by now, they'd have a video on the website of the boys being told, JT playing his first game back is nearly a bigger deal than some of our young guys playing their first games.

I don't think so, it's definitely better than it was, he looks far more free in his running and he's picked up some speed but he's still not super quick, but he will just get to so many contests which is what we need him to do, be that hard running mid, like a Daniel Cross or Joey Montagna

The speed isn't a huge issue because of Trengoves Aerobic ability, he is perfectly suited to the intererchange cap

Essendon are totally in breach of his contract, if Hurley wants to walk, he can walk, if they say no and he challenges it, i see no way he wouldn't win.

Sorry that was a typo jack IS officially in the selection mix, but i am not sure it'll be this week

Spoke to Macca at training yesterday and he said Trenners had put his hand up to play but he wasn't sure when it would be, but he's officially in the selection mix.

Not likely, really depends on Jesse Hogan, if the club thinks he might leave they'll most likely ramp up and offer to Hurley to get a ready made replacement for Jesse, if we could Re-sign Hogan and somehow get both Dion and Hurley we could go close to top 4 next season.

Prestia is a lot like Jack Viney! he is an elite level inside/outside midfielder who can kick goals and works very well defensively! he'd walk in and be in the best couple of mids we have right away and would make an impact.
-
Prestia is a class player, when he gets fit and a full pre season behind him he'll quickly show how good he is, an underdone and injured prestia was the best clearance player in the comp for a big chunk of last year in a struggling team. we would love him at the MFC
-
I think the MFC would be well within their rights to question this, we got fined 500k for " not tanking" they're deliberately resting players and putting them on ice to get a high pick.
-
even worse, the club knew it wouldn't win one, they just knew the supporters wouldn't be patient enough to go through a re-build hahahahah
-
I think he'll leave and i'd be very surprised if he wasn't the only top end suns player who decided to walk out at years end as well.

Jarryd Roughead's return to health, and football - update

One of the best blokes you're likely to meet! thoughts are with Roughy and his family! -
we will absolutely belt them at the G 70 plus points this time around, their defense will not hold up
-
Who wouldn't want to go to a team that has recently admitted they knew their recruiting strategy wouldn't win them a premiership.....
-
I think it's all between the ears for Jesse, but i would like to see a shorter run up and [censored] that skip off so he has less margin for error, like a fast bowlers run up, if it needs to be repeated over and over you want it as simple as possible with all momentum heading towards the target.
-
All depends on Max, if we lose out of the middle we're going to get scored against heavily, if we win it's going to allow us to score heavily from clearance. i like the idea but i do think we need a plan B because while it allows us to have the patches where we kick 5-6 goals quickly, it allows the opposition to do the same at times.
