  1. Harmes does everything ANB offers and more, his outside pace, marking around the ground and so on definitely put him a few spots above ANB for mine. we're definitely trying to play ANB as a mid, and because of that you just have to look at who he's competing with to understand why he can't get a consistent run of games. I suspect he's a pretty strong chance to request a trade at years end
  2. I honestly think it could be more like 2-3 years but i see your point.
  3. But also won a Risning star award and had the best first season of any key forward in the modern era to start his career, when you do that in a really bad side the expectations tend to jump a little.
  4. Fair chance Dean Terlich won't be sticking around.
  5. I wonder if Petracca will be rested ( output seems a little down the last couple ) and bring in Salem on a HFF?
  6. I think Max Gawn would be a good chance/choice. but 99.9% sure it'll be Viney. Viney Captain Gawn Vice
  7. Dom Tyson has taken his game to a whole new level in the last 4-5 weeks, i reckon he's been best on ground in at least two of those. i reckon it's pretty easy to forget how talented Dom is when you think of Gawn, Hogan, Petracca, Brayshaw and co but our win yesterday came largely on the back of Dom's influence imo
  8. I personally think we're a huge chance to win the next 2, would be pretty stoked with an 11 win season.
  9. we don't NEED Jesse to be a good side, and i think that's the best possible thing for the club, he's an asset not a savior, i love the idea of Jesse being able to get up the ground and have an impact and have Wiederman dominating deep forward, let them play to their strengths :D
  10. I'm with Chaser, the players have to much power, they're always going to want to the stronger sides, as long as they have as much power as they currently hold, the top of the ladder turnover will be to little, even if the Hawks drop i can see the Giants staying up there for the next 5-10 years anyway. Free agency gives the players the ability to move to their club of choice, but the clubs should hold more power over the trade to ensure they get a better deal players can be drafted anywhere so why can't they be traded anywhere?
  11. Bit to early, there are always surprises in the trade/draft period
  12. Incorporate " [censored] yeah go Dees" into every conversation i have for the next 6 months.
  13. well said. Definitely time we moved on, those posters know where the ignore button is and they should know they don't have to read his posts.
  14. 7 pages of bashing a poster with basically no discussion around Jesse Hogan. Demonland at it's finest. GNF's post aside, i personally believe Jesse will re-sign before the start of Pre Season, he looks super committed to the club and it's direction and i reckon he'd be super excited about playing with his future partner in crime this weekend
  15. I think it goes back to my point a few pages ago, this would be improved by simply ignoring those posts, currently we've had like 4-5 pages of posters smashing into GNF which is clearly far worse for everyone than the " Fawning" it's still as simple as if you don't like posts, ignore them. I think the mods should seriously consider deleting quite a lot of the posts on the last few pages, they're not relevant to Jesse Hogan and they're clearly attacking another poster, rightly or wrongly the next person who wants to share information on here would have to think twice about it, because whether they have a good source or not, they'll get smashed by a group of posters.
  16. Yup, their mids are getting older so they will need some younger guys to go through there, and ideally they wouldn't drop out of the top 4 in the process so it just makes sense that they'd be after these blokes.
  17. That's the point that you completely missed, i wouldn't have called him a fraud without knowing, because that's just ridiculous. What's hilarious is you're both doing the same thing ( treating your opinions as fact ) the only difference is a big chunk of demonland rates GNF as a source. p.s our interest in both Danger and Prestia in 2014/2015 respectively was confirmed by the club. not sure if he ever suggested both were over the line? he definitely said he thought Dion would be a dee, which may happen if a huge offer from Richmond doesn't/hasn't swayed him. anyways, this is a thread about Jesse Hogan and the last 3 pages has been 2-3 posters bashing GNF for posting his information, and i'm sure will have a go at other posters for derailing threads down the track so lets all move on, shall we?
  18. But you don't know that he's wrong, so how can you say he was delusional? i can't think of the players GNF suggested we went after but it was Prestia, Dangerfield and Kennedy correct? because two it became public that we did chase them. I think it really comes down to a simple matter of, if you don't rate/like his posts don't read them. if you're calling people delusional without really knowing yourself you just look silly.
  19. Sherlocks cousin
  20. Jason Holmes is the one i rate the highest of the three, but still... none.
  21. I think that any Demonlander who posts anything but drunken ramblings or the theme song should be banned under these circumstances. I expect to be passed out under the grand stand telling picket fence how he was right all along.
  22. When we finally win one i reckon the afterparty will extend through til the third quarter of our back to back flag
  23. No point really, you'll argue each point i make and it's not really worth the effort i rate his posts, you don't, pretty simple really.
  24. as GNF said, you're entitled to your belief, he has made some calls a long way out that have proven 100% correct and for me that gives him credibility. but as i said, each person is entitled to read or not, i don't see anything productive coming from you getting on here writing how his sources are rubbish, if you don't rate them, simply don't read it. i am 100% certain there will still be many posters who appreciate what he says regardless of what you post.
  25. I mean he's also gotten some things very right but it doesn't suit your point to mention that.
